These look good. I’ve been sticking to the Chanel duo tenue if wearing a mask and Chantecaille lip chics when not, but these look good. May pick up Divine Nude. Thanks for sharing. They all look great on you.

Hi Rebecca, luv, luv, luv the bright colors on you. I'm tempted now to purchase them. I usually shy away from strong pigments and brights, I'm a gloss gal like you. The Ellson and Flesh looked gorgeous on you. The only product I have purchase from Pat M is her under eye setting powder and eyeliner which I love. It looks like I will have to purchase one of these. Hello Bridget. I kept shocking myself all day when I'd pass a mirror because this stuff stays on. So my makeup was wearing off and I still had this bright pink lip on haha. But I think I need the color more than I realized. Maybe it's just all this staying inside this past year. I'm fading! Hahaha. Thank you for the kind compliments. 🥰

Honestly, Bridget, I never even noticed or thought about it until, during editing, I’m forced to look at myself all the time. I realized a brighter lip does so much more for me. And yet I have drawers of neutrals instead! 💕

Oh you look so pretty in the darker shades Rebecca!!! I really like the Flesh and the Elson, they are beautiful shades!!! I didn't go for liquilusts when they first came out as I did think they would be way too drying on my lips but I think I have to try one to test drive now!!! Thanks for this review Rebecca!! ♥️
Hello Debbie!!! Oh I'd love for you to try. They don't dry me out....but I'm kind of used to having dry lips so maybe I'm just like same o, same o. Hahahahha. Do they have those shades at your Sephora? I'd love to hear what you think if you tried one. I mean, I should admit, Debbie, they're not like a balm or anything? Hahaha. But, for a liquid lipstick that lasts and doesn't transfer, it's pretty unbeatable. 🥰

I don’t love orangey-reds or fuchsia-reds as much as adore blue-reds. That being said, I love all types of red. I am happy to know these don’t feel drying. I had some interesting experiences with similar products in the past. I basically became desperate to take them off my lips. I hate things that feel drying and, when I say hate, I mean hate. You know how much I love glue. 😂😘😘
@@MissBeeeBeee you know...and I should have stated this....they’re not drying BUT they’re not hydrating. And we get so used to really balmy glosses and lipsticks so, often, a product like this gives the dry impression simply because it’s not slick, if that makes sense. But, having definitely had a few miserable experiences akin to what you mentioned (get this OFF my lips!!!), these products are a huge improvement over anything like that. I’m so pleased to be the actual secret hidden Victoria’s Secret. Hahahaha. Hugs to you!!! 💕

Yes, I totally agree this gives the “dry impression” because it’s not the usual balm or gloss. I am happy to know it’s a huge improvement over those Desperation City products, even though I hear you that it’s not hydrating. I wonder how my beloved goops would behave on top. I tried that with a few liquid lipsticks with varying degrees of success. Huge hugs to you!!!! 💖💖💖

Repeating what people are saying, but it must be said again-that Pink Addiction is stunning on you! You must promise to wear more! It’s sexy, flirty, cheery, and fun. And I’m a little scared to wear it, so you must wear it for me! I usually dislike liquid and matte, too. I hate to say it, but when Becca said they were closing, I decided I should try a lipstick before they are gone forever. And darn it if I didn’t fall in love with the creamy formula!! Great staying power, super comfy all day, and terrific opacity. Smells fabulous, too. Such bad luck to figure that out now..... 🙄. Think Divine Nude and maybe Pink Addiction may be in my future if you promise they don’t parch lips too badly.

Am kicking myself. These lipsticks are not drying. BUT they’re also not hydrating. Nowadays we are all addicted to that super rush of comfy hydration from lipsticks. So we try something like this and we think “Dry!” But really, we are just missing that balm like feeling. So you won’t feel pampered like you do from the Becca product (poor poor Becca. How we will miss them!) but you won’t be the Gobi Desert either. 😊 💕

I think I have all of the Flesh lip colors, and every single one is freaking fantastic. I hate matte lipsticks, but I am absolutely living for the Divine Rose color...although you just said they aren’t uncomfortable...Pat McGrath has already taken a lot of my 💵 😂🤣
I agree. She basically has a direct line to my bank account. Haha. These are not uncomfortable. Not at all. But but but it’s not a balm either, if that makes sense. They don’t dry out lips but they also don’t hydrate. And I think that is why some say they feel dry. They last well too. Great items for the Sephora sale. Hoping the new shades end up at Sephora by then!!! 💕

They all look great on you but Flesh 3 and Elson are stunning on you! I’m slightly biased when it comes to the Flesh line because I happen to have Flesh 5 in mattetrance and Flesh (can’t remember the number😂) in blitztrance. However, I’m definitely passing on this line because I’m not a big fan of liquid lipsticks. I’d rather stick to regular bullet lipsticks and tinted lip balms. Thanks for sharing! 😊
You make me feel so much better, Chrissy, when, like me, you can't remember the exact number of the Flesh Blitztrance. But you already are better than me because you remembered that it's Blitztrance. I would say "Flesh something or other in some Trance or other." I do this all day long and I can't remember what anything is called. hahahahahhahaha. Joking aside, I do understand you passing on these as, no matter what, it's still a liquid lipstick and if you know that's not going to be comfy, why spend your hard earned cash? I totally get it. 🥰
Wow the lip color you’re wearing in this video looks absolutely stunning on you!!!! I am so on the fence on these because of the dryness. But I use kylie, too faced, & ABH. Which are all known for being drying. Does this formula give the same level of dryness?
Hi Sophie. I'm kicking myself because I realize, in comments, that I should have presented it this way in the video and I missed my opportunity so forgive me if you've read me saying this in other comments. The thing about this lip product isn't that it's drying. I promise it's not. BUT BUT BUT, it's NOT nourishing or emollient. And we are so used to lovely, enriched, balm like lipsticks now (I know I adore them) that, when it's a lip product like this one, we think DRY when it's really just....neither dry nor soothing. Does that make sense? It kind of sinks into the lips. It does not leave the lips parched or cracked or uncomfortable but it's not a balm so it doesn't leave your lips better. Thankfully, however, I do not find myself with that uncomfortable "I need a gloss!!!! EEEK!!" feeling. Not at all, which is high marks for a liquid lipstick. haha. MUCH better than ABH and Too Faced. I haven't tried Kylie but I suspect the same 😀❤️

These look really good on you! If a person had lip lines do you think these would bleed!
Haha. Robin, look closer and you'll likely see the answer to your question. Hahaha. They definitely do bleed. But here is what I did. I take the product and apply it. Then I smile and am horrified by the lines. After a smirk in the mirror, I take my finger and quickly push some of the pigment into the lines and there it sets and then there's no lines that show. As the product wears through the day, the part that goes first is the inside of the lips and there's a tad bit of an ombre effect. But once you kind of make sure to smile and get the product into any lines, there's not that kind of bleeding. Let know if that didn't fully answer your question. Happy to clarify! 🥰

You are incredibly kind. I whitened my teeth once about 12 years ago and I was SO happy with the results. But I haven't done it since. I used one of those dentist trays and it WORKED but it was goopy and gross. About two years ago, I tried one of those blue light things but it didn't work at all. And I haven't done a thing since. For ME, they are awfully yellow and I need to try to do something with them again so I very much appreciate your kind words. A few of my friends in England commented on them the other day and I said it's really just that I'm American and we're obsessed with Orthodontia and such. Haha. 🥰

I'll tell you this much, the stuff that really really actually worked all those years ago, was a tray made at a dentist's office and goop that you put into it that I ordered from the dentist. I have never thought any of those store bought ones are any good. I assumed I must be wrong when I tried the store bought blue light thing a few years ago. I saw zero difference. I must have been less lazy all those years ago. Now sitting with goop on for a half hour in the morning and a half hour at night seems intolerable. Haha. 🥰
Guess what. I've received my order of 3 of the matte lipsticks....ummmm this is what I will say about my experience thus far...
Pros
1.Lightweight
2. Non-messy
Cons
1. Quite drying on the lips (after I moisturized my lips and I dont tend to have dry lips)
2. One layer does help it to be less resistant but not non-resistant. Some still smeared on my disposable face mask.. However I have 2 toned lips (bottom lip VERY pink and top lip brown) so 2 layers is needed to achieve an equal color distribution and appearance on top and bottom lip....BUT that's when the bigger amount of transfer occurred .
My overall thought:
I'm kinda on the fence as that the colors are very nice on me BUT is it worth $30???? Ughhh not sure about that.
You know what I’m doing now? I’m applying one layer. Then I wait with kind of mouth half open for it to dry. Then I apply a colored gloss. This helps the liquilust to move around a bit and kind of sink into the lips. It also helps the color last. It is entirely transferable after that tho, unfortunately. But I like it better in that I get more wear and depth of color out of my gloss and zero dry feeling.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty oh i see...I just compared it to my colouredraine matte lipsticks....and colouredraine pigmentation is better and feels the same in terms of being lightweight. I'm thinking of returning the PMG Elson ( I might keep the wild orchid and Flesh 3)

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I'm tired of going to Sephora. Lol I'm going to just keep them. They are pretty colors on me just didn't perform like I wanted. I truly wanted a liquid matte that would not smear when I wear a face mask. Since this is the new norm for us. I guess that invention will never happen.:(
@@abrown198528 the Chanel liquid does not budge but the gloss over the top does. It’s clear tho. I hear there’s a Rimmel drugstore one that’s great too but I can’t vouch for it.
