There is no giving that can cause God to give us anything. Where did you take what you are giving?
Christians should give because they want to help others who are less privileged, and because they want to advance the gospel. They should give to the church as a show of gratitude for what God has done for them already (Salvation), not because they want God to do something for them. I don't have to pay my father anything before he pays my school fees, so why should I think I have to pay God for Him to bless me?
