- I was asked to do a DJI Mini 4 Pro Review of the latest DJI Drone. I took it on its first test flight to an exceptional place - the Dodekalitten in the southern part of Denmark. This was the perfect location for my DJI Mini 4 Pro first flight.

Great review, thank you - I like the M4P but am in two minds whether to upgrade or not. The waypoint mission, particularly if it permits a DroneLink-like mapping planning may sway me, otherwise I will sit tight for a bit longer.

Why complain about a new version of drone every year? Car makers do it, clothing, and everything else does it! Think of the newcomers to drones, they get the newest of tech, so I LOVE it! Enjoy! Better than the post office “pushing the envelope” LOL!😂

my biggest question is which remote! the rc-n2 or RC2 do you loose any functionality when using rc-n2 and mobile phone?

hi, tks for the Video. The DJI ND filters from Mini 3/Pro fits on the 4 Pro or I need to buy a new set?
They do not fit
dji mini 4 pro c0 firmware will they continue update if declassified?
i'm definitely upgrading and selling the min 3. it's got a slightly better stacked sensor and a few features from the bigger drones that makes it worth it. i'm even selling my air 2s as it is a good replacement for that too. i have a mavic 3 classic for 20mp photos anyway so one big drone and one small drone is all you need.

Have you (or will you) do a range comparison beteeen 3 and 4 in CE mode?
Also do new controllers work with 3 Pro, plus do 3 Pro controllers work with 4 Pro (albeit with less range)
No I have not done that yet - the the controllers are not backward compatible

is the color assist option only in the mini 4 pro? to get rec709 colors while shooting in d-log?
Color assiat is only UI and it show what the colors would look like when graded/corrected

I don't have them so I can't test it

Hendrik, could you have a look at the screen resolution of your screen recording of the RC2. It seems to me that it is now better than the low screen recording resolution of the old RC. Is that correct? Greetings from the Netherlands

I could see, that in photo mode, you could pick raw only - is that correct?? Would be great - instead of the annoying jpegs you need to delete from the SD card in the Mini 3..

of course it does. It has to weight sub 250 grams. What materials would you expect them to use in order to meet that requirement?

I have a few questions? is the mini 4 pro really limited to only 120m max altitude? and surely the older rc controller or even the RC-N1 will work with the mini 4 pro? i ask this because the RC-N1 is Ocusync 2.0 but works with the mini 3 that is Ocusync 3.0, or is the new mini 4 pro not backwards compatible?

It only with Mini 3 Pro batteries I have learned

I just sold my Mini 3 Pro yesterday for more than I bought when new and the M4P has everything I was looking for, so it will be a nice upgrade
(bought it in July during the Amazon Prime Day for $704 after tax and sold it for $725. I was only expecting to get $650.)

Yes it is but only in Europe
Nice video you made. The vertical video is so far away with the camera. The digital "zoom" (which is really just a crop) just lowers the resolution because you're not using the entire sensor. So maybe just crop in post.
This drone is pure JUNK do not buy. I have had 2 defective drones in 3 days. Screen freezes in flight arms get lose after a week of use. Pure JUNK. Stay away.
Come on now, Every year we are getting a new mini? This is BS. What is the dji mini 5 goin to offer us next year? Free morning coffee delivery? Why do we need a new mini introduced each year?
