Thankkk you cuz that “pineapple” used to have me waking up looking stupid the next morning lol. I would instead retwist the same little parts I can’t wait to try bigger parts for day 2 and on!
Lady Trucker 43 hair is like magic!!! Very beautiful and I see it got more and more full... I’m glad I’m not the only one the pineapple method doesn’t work for, I have to retwist my hair every night
I love this. Never thought to retwist because I’m lazy, but if I do large sections maybe it won’t be so bad! My twist outs never last more than a few days, but that’s mostly because I play with my hair too much! 🙏🏾
If I didn't re-twist mine wouldn't last overnight lol! Once you start doing it it becomes second nature and you can do it very quickly. I'm normally watching tv or something when I do mine.
@@pmerancier girl same! I'll sometimes leave my twist in for a few days.. Lol still fuck around and retwist em, just for the sake of it. Lol #stretch em #shrinkageisreal
So proud of you for doing this video...I used to think these other utube girls were magicians!!!!... Girl your have no idea what you released me from. Plus I used to think I had to wash my hair every week. But nope. Ain't doing that no more unless it's itchy. So here I come with my two weeks twists... 🤘😍
Omg 😱 I didn’t know I was suppose to re-twist my hair every night!!!! Thank you so much for your video!! I will be re-twisting my hair tonight. Thank you.
I'm so glad I found your channel. My hair has been natural over a year and I've yet to wear it out in a natural style. I'm not going to lie, I have a slight anxiety attack thinking about retwisting my own hair nightly because I've been going to a licensed professional since I was 12, so I have no relationship with my hair. But I'm going to try this week since I'm off.🙏🏿🤞🏿
Thank you for this video and the step by step instructions on how you went about maintaining your twist out. My daughter has 4C hair and luckily loves her curls but maintaining her twist out was becoming so cumbersome that I just wind up putting box braids in her hair. Her hair is currently in twists for the day and this video has given me the confidence to continue to allow her to love her hair while maintaining it. Thank you
This is so nice to see. I have 4c hair as well and personally, my definition will not last if I just pineapple or sleep with a bonnet. I was feeling like something was wrong because mine wouldn’t last overbite and I thought the extra manipulation of retwisting at night was “bad”. But you made yours last 2 weeks. I’ll try that. I’ve only ever lasted 1
Sister, I'm watching this for my baby girl, but after the FIRST 16 seconds of the video, I just HAD to tell you how much I love your beautiful, thick, strong, amazing, Goddess hair, with and without style. Absolutely beautiful. Black Power.
*GIRL! THIS was AWESOME!! After a year of being natural, I finally achieved a successful twist out but had no idea how to wrap it at night. I even thought about sleeping pretty but now I don't have to*
Thank you!!!! I tried this and it worked. On my 4 or 5th day I got so much attention from people of all races and ages about how pretty I am. I know it was because that twistout had got big and I've been doing aloe treatments that had it bouncing and shining 😂😂
Love this! Best advice I’ve seen so far on maintaining a twist out! I think I could do this everyday and be happy until my hair gets to my desired length! Thank you for sharing ✨
Omg you are a lifesaver.!!!! My twistouts always need saving after day 2 and the pineapple method does nothing but matte my hair in sections 😂😂. I will be doing this tonight!
Thank you!! I tend to two stand twist, keep it twisted for two weeks, only to unravel, wash and twist again! Never did a twist out. This video has given me that option. Thank you again😁
I will keep this in mind! I do tiny little twist on wash day for my twist out and wear them until I’m ready to take them out. The pieces are so small they look better as they frizz out so I can wear it for weeks without retwisting at all. I use pure oil to fluff the curls in the morning! Thanks for your video. Us naturalists need all the techniques we can try!
Wow !! This video was the best one I’ve seen so far! Thank you for the in depth explanation of how to do twists at night and in the morning how you do your twist out. I was doing it all wrong ! I kept adding product to my daughters hair 🤭🤭🤭 thank God for RUclips and amazing people like you. I’ll continue to watch and learn. 😉
Thank you for sharing, I was just tying my hair up without braiding it, and so frustrated that it wasn't keeping. I'll start doing the large braids like that at night to have better results. Your hair looks really nice. Thanks again.
Thank you so much. This video has helped me out tremendously. I am a 2 month natural newbie. Needless to say i am very frustrated. But I will stay the course as I love my hair. I just haven't gotten used to the process. And...there are so many product recommendations. Overwhelming to say the least.
Omg can’t believe I’m just now stumbling over this video! I have the hardest time maintaining a twistout especially in Alabama heat! Thank you! New subscriber 🤗
Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful video. You are finally the first ut Uber I found that validated the way I feel. Everybody says don’t manipulate your hair so much but it my hair isn’t twisted and kept stretched over night it will be a tangled mess. I’m so happy I found your channel.😊
So, I tried this method last night and SIS… When I say THANK YOU! 👏 This is the best method thus far to preserve a twist out. I was doing that pineapple thing and my twist were still flat and frizzy the next day; I was having to re-twist my hair every other day ! 😭. I’m hoping this method gives me at least 2 weeks before having to re-twist, but will see. 🤞🏾
True, the retwisting stretches your hair while maintaining most of the twists, that’s why it looks better with every day. I’m naturally too, I used to try to retwist the same small sizes, that’s painstaking and I would get discouraged, nobody has that kind of time. This here will make it easier to go a few days with your twists and much less labor.
This is amazing ! I love this. I finally found my perfect 4c girl!! Thanks so much!! This is gorgeous and easy. You made it simple but the results are amazing
Absolutely, the older the better💖 and Shea Moisture products have definitely strengthen, healed my eczema and has grown my hair in the last 2yrs, your hair is Gorgeous
Ohhhh m gee!!! I think I’ve finally found someone who legiittttt has my exact hair type!!! Eeepppp!!!! You rock chica!!! Off to watch the entire catalogue!!
I just stepped out of wearing wigs and I have 4c hair... I haven't been to the shop in some years over priced for sow in ... and I'm tired if weave ... I've been natural for 9 yrs ... I just NEVER KNOWN HOW TO DO HAIR ESP. MINE..LOL THANK U AND I WILL CONTINUE TO FOLLOW YOU...
I’m definitely trying this! It was super helpful I literally used to have to do my full twist out every night bc it would just look too crusty and dusty in the morning. Thank you so much! Keep it up 😁😁
Girrrrrrrrl! Thank you sooo much! I absolutely love your method, simple & easy. You’re hair type is like mine so I tried it & my twist out is popping! It’s actually worth twisting my hair out every night! Much love!!!💜💕
Oh thank you. I'm going to try this method because my twist outs look great on the first day but once I go to sleep it looks like crap the next day and those mini pineapples don't work for me. This looks like this will be a better method for my 4C hair type.
Thanks for the video! I have 4abc hair! I pretty much retwist my hair every night as well if I want my twist out to last for 3 weeks. I do mine in twelve big sections. I use CR cream gel. When I was relaxed I had to wrap my hair every night. So I don’t feel it is to much work.
Finally hair that I can relate to! At any point do you have to comb or brush your hair in order to keep it from locking? Or is that potential problem pretty much solved by retwisting and finger detangling every day?
Thanks so much for sharing this method. I've seen other people reach for the water to refresh their twists and that will not work for my hair. Will try this tonight.
Thankkk you cuz that “pineapple” used to have me waking up looking stupid the next morning lol. I would instead retwist the same little parts I can’t wait to try bigger parts for day 2 and on!
DrenaDream same
Same sis lol
This!!! That pineapple shit never worked for me
Exactly and my daughter hair not that long to put up in a pineapple method...so i finally see something that works for my baby
3 years late reply and Im crying to “waking up looking stupid” cuz I felt that!!!!!
Seems like it got better and better
Lady Trucker 43 agreed! ❤️
Lady Trucker 43 hair is like magic!!! Very beautiful and I see it got more and more full... I’m glad I’m not the only one the pineapple method doesn’t work for, I have to retwist my hair every night

Takes a good hour for me.. my arms are very tone lol. I pretty much do it every night.
@@justmythoughts6030 me too, and i always retwist. When i am lazy i just throw a bonnet on and keep it moving
@@pmerancier girl same! I'll sometimes leave my twist in for a few days.. Lol still fuck around and retwist em, just for the sake of it. Lol #stretch em #shrinkageisreal
@justmythoughts6030 If it's taking that long, it means that you're doing in too little.
I usually would just sleep on my twist out. I tried this method and it REALLY works! Great video !
Great! Glad it helped!

I’m in the same boat! 😩 did it get easier for you?
By the end of the day I just don't have the energy, patience, motivation, desire, etc to twist my hair again lol. I need to do better.

I need to try this! Gorg, 4C represent!🖐🖑
Thank you so much for doing this I struggled with maintaining my twist out pass day 2
No problem! I hope it helps!
this was insane !!! I literally said wow everytime I saw the next day result!
This is my favorite method for preserving a twist out 💜
Thanks for watching!
How do you start with your natural hair? Just starting out.
Thank you for sharing, I was just tying my hair up without braiding it, and so frustrated that it wasn't keeping. I'll start doing the large braids like that at night to have better results. Your hair looks really nice. Thanks again.
Changed my life, lucky to have found this. Walking to with natural hair has been limiting me but this has helped out a lot. Thank you!

Thank you for sharing this because whenever I sleep on my hair it just shrinks up and gets frizzy. Retwisting is what I need to do for my hair

Thanks for doing this video. So many show what wash day is like. But never show how to keep your hair for the rest of the week,
Just what I needed to see as I have a twist out now and don't want to apply took much product
I didn't know people didn't retwist their hair at night
Too much work my dear... gosh...
Camila Nkwenti it is not too much work for me. All about personal preference.
bleeka325 it takes me two hours to do a twistout so no i don’t retwist it at night
Easy-peasy lemon squeezy method Sis!!
Thank you I get so frustrated with my hair and I needed to see this to get motivated
The evolution of a twist out, very nice. I have to retwist every night as well!!
I love love love your video I've tried your method an it works wonders for my twist out. Thank you☺☺☺
First of all, your hair is gorgeous! 2nd, my hair could never. Day one don’t even look nice as yours. Great video

Sis you are my actual hair twin😍☺️
This is beautiful! 😍
Thanks Jamela!
I now know the trick. Retwisting in larger sections!!!! So helpful.
I never thought about this genius idea !!
Oh thank you. I'm going to try this method because my twist outs look great on the first day but once I go to sleep it looks like crap the next day and those mini pineapples don't work for me. This looks like this will be a better method for my 4C hair type.
I love your hair ❤. Mine would never do this 🥴
Your hair looks great, I maintain my twist out the same way.
Yesss this is exactly what I was looking for! 🙏🏾 Thank you lol I’m excited now
Beautiful! Thanks for the tutorial!
So pretty! Agreed... pineapple does not work for me most times!
Thanks so much girl, for making this video this will save busy moms like me 😍😘
Thanks for the video! I have 4abc hair! I pretty much retwist my hair every night as well if I want my twist out to last for 3 weeks. I do mine in twelve big sections. I use CR cream gel. When I was relaxed I had to wrap my hair every night. So I don’t feel it is to much work.
I am trying this method tonight. I hope I have the same results😊
your hair have grown a lot and is healthy. Love your videos.
You are a time savor with this video i waste a ton of time doing twist outs for them to only look good one day
This is really goodddd🙌🏽ty!
dang i didn't know it was that simple..
TFS queen I do same thing, but I braid when redoing hair.
Been doing this ever since I saw this video and my twist out last as long as 3 weeks. The 4th week is when I use mousse again
TFS! I loved every single pair of earrings you were wearing! 😍
Absolutely love it!!! We have the same exact hair texture
you give me so much hope
I like the fullness of your . It is very nice.
Your hair is growing fast
Thank you! I just keep thinking about where it would be if I didn't have to cut it 😩 but I'm super excited to see how long it can grow!
love your hair. you make that look super easy.
I love the twist outs
Beautiful…Good Technique ❤
Finally hair that I can relate to! At any point do you have to comb or brush your hair in order to keep it from locking? Or is that potential problem pretty much solved by retwisting and finger detangling every day?
Thank you so much for this video. It was much needed!!
Thank you so much. I tried it and it works!
Yo it really looks better and better as the days progress🤣✔️
This is super smart, thank you so much!!
AWESOME JOB!!! I love it!!!
Thank you queen! You and your hair are gorgeous!
Thanks so much for sharing this method. I've seen other people reach for the water to refresh their twists and that will not work for my hair. Will try this tonight.
I appreciate this video SO much ✨💖
This was so helpful!!!
Hi, thank you for the video, could this be considered as a low manipulation/protective style?
Thank you for this ❤
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for this video!
Absolutely worked for me
Thank you so much! Just subscribed!
Trying this tonight, let's see if it works :)
