  • @SouthPawRacer

Thanks for watching all! Hope you enjoyed.

  • @adammiller011

Rhys man, I waited until I got home from the race track to watch this video, god I wish I didn't. I hope we've got you back for good now :)

  • @flyingphoenix113

I would love to see this for Suzuka, Fuji, Spa, Watkins Glen, Red Bull Ring, Imola, and Charade.

  • @jasonking679

So interesting! The overlay and cut scenes at the end were great.

  • @erSancheh

Rhys, you've upped your game BIG TIME. I've generally really liked your content, but this? This is art. Of course, you'll upload anything you feel like, but man, this kind of content will surely make your subs fall in love. More, please? 😁

  • @annadelsiena

absolutely fantastic video Rhys, this was so good! <3 I'm Dutch myself and I've honestly not seen such a well made video of the track before. There's usually the German road part, and the Lauda days, but nobody ever talked about the between and after, and how the circuit reinvented itself. It's certainly not helped by the very lackluster performance of Dutch F1 drivers before Max came around which had people in the Netherlands looking at Dutch F1 performance with laughter and usually taking the piss out of it. Jos was given the name Jos Graveltrap as one as the things that stood out to me. Max flipped that perspective around singlehandedly and it's

Man... I LOVED this little documentary, totally Zandvoort deserved one but no one dared before. My greatest props. And PLEASE!!! CONTINUE THIS "LEGENDARY CIRCUITS" DOCUS ON, I BEG YOU! ❤

  • @yhaustein38

Outstanding and extremely enjoyable. I love circuit history like this, understanding how they came to be, what transformed them to what we have today, and what could have been. Spent so many hours reading up on these things, but this has brilliantly visualized the history of one of the most interesting tracks in the world. Hats off!

  • @byronlong264

Awesome that you are back creating content! I often look back at how classic circuits have evolved over the years, and this fills that niche perfectly. I look forward to more like this. Brilliant job.

  • @smallman5509

Your attention to detail inediting and great ways of telling the story is why I subbed to this channel many a moon ago. Exquisitely done, Southpaw ❤

  • @alexmaggio9942

Tarzan is called the way it is because in the early stages of building of the track, the owner of the part of land that covered turn 1's territory was owned by man who refused to give it up, no matter the price, his name was indeed, Tarzan.

  • @WeebGilroy

Rhys raced in my rFactor league in like 2010 and at this point I consider it one of my greatest accomplishments

  • @sweep4747

Great to see you back! I feel so good calling this (and Assen) my home track

  • @minonkh

It's also a beautiful track to visit as a spectator

  • @kuhpfau

I don't usually comment on videos but I feel obliged to do it here for the sake of helping it get the visibility it deserves. Wonderful work, Rhys. The GEarth overlays in particular. Geweldig!

  • @troll666klan6

Goosh damn! It's gotta be a good day when you're treated to a new Southpaw video.

  • @LucasDegen

Thank you for sharing, I live 15 minutes away from it. 1993 was my first time on the track seeing Jos Verstappen win the Marlboro Masters. I didn't know untill now I was on the old Club circuit.

  • @nicololorenzon3291

What a fantastic video! Loved the transitions and overlays. Narration always on point!
