Hey Mimo! Hanbok (한복) is pronounced haahn-bohk (kind of like saying 'bloke' but without the 'l') just so you aren't confused in the future!

  • @Agforever12

When a priest who was Korean said his first mass at my church, some of his family came from Korea to see him and the ladies wore gorgeous hanboks and looked like princesses!

  • @nishicola8136

Im Filipino-Korean, and she looks beautiful, Thank you! I love how you tell info about all these different cultures’ traditional wear & such. ♥️🖤

It looks beautiful! I hope to see lots more of this series! It would be even greater if you could talk about current/past issues related to/with that country! It would be a lot though, so maybe two videos with each country? I love hearing about these. Thank you so much Mimo! 🕊️

I know you probably wont see this, but thank you so much for posting about the issues of Congo, Sudan, and Palestine. Nobody is teaching this, nobody is talking about this. I didnt know until today, when I came across your channel again. I'm a long term subscriber, and I haven't watched you in a while. I am so glad you popped up in my feed again, because I would never have found out about the tragedies happening in the world. Thank you so much, you have inspired me to spread the word across everyone I know. You're doing so well being the voice for those who have none, and I'm so grateful for your videos.

I love how the doll has her arms up like, "Dress me, dress me!" 😂

  • @nusaibahsaddiq6827

i love the fact that you always represent people from all over and speak up about things that people avoid. so inspiring🩷🩷🇵🇸

  • @BlubBlubFish_67

Amazing! I research historical fashion, and I love learning about cultural fashions/dresses. You put so much time and effort into this series and it helps educate yourself and others in the process. I think that's amazing, Miss Mimo. I learned so much from this video alone, I cant wait to see what you do next!! ❤

  • @barbariansocks

My greqt grandma used to take me to a Korean restaurant and they had a beautifully decorated doll like this cake you've made. Memory unlocked, fhank you ❤

Hi! This is Mihi, and I am Korean. You almost got hanbok right, just a slight pronunciation difference :). I have a pink hanbok, and I love wearing it. It stirs pride in me for my country. Thank you for making this series!

  • @Lavarose4003

How have I learned more from cake videos than from school

  • @MarisaAndChew

I love the dresses and their intricacies from other countries!!! This one is absolutely amazing! Can you imagine the attention to detail in actually creating one in the traditional seamstress way? Esp if they had the gold threading and such throughout. It would have bene thousands of hours, likely super uncomfortable and absolutely worth it!!!

  • @MelodyMartinezK-12

That dress is TOO gorgeous!!! 🤌🤌

  • @TheVillageIdiot829

Dollightful does a lot of hanboks for her asian dolls. I love them. Theyre so pretty

  • @robyn2124

Your dedication to create the best version of something is so admirable. Love you Mimo!
