I never thought the A10 would drive a pair of Dynaudio speakers. I have Excite x18 (86dB efficiency), your Emit30s have 87. Maybe I should go ahead and order the A10.
Take a look at the simple, cheap update by Skunkie Electronics. The A10 and A12 are claimed at 6W/Ch at 1% THD, but in real life outputs unbelievably puny 0.05W/Ch @ 1% THD, that is 120 times lower than advertised, and of course unable to drive most speakers well. After update the figures come up to about 5.5W/Ch @ approx 1% THD. Since stock design of A10/A12 offer really bad working conditions for EL34 output tubes, but considerably better for 6V6 tubes, you can actually just swap for 6V6 tubes for dramatically improved performance of the A10/A12, which Skunkie Design Electronics showed in the "Quick Fix Video". I tried that ( running now) Makes big difference. Combine the 6V6:s with GZ34 rectifier tube, and things really change for the better without any soldering or opening of the gut of the amp, if you would not like to. If you after a while would like to hear what a quite healthy A10/A12 ( up to spec performance instead of 0.05W ) sounds like with stock EL34 tubes, you can try the rather simple update by Skunkie Design Electronics, see links below Skunkie Design Electronics have done a tremendous job finding the HUGE flaws of the stock designs ( A10/A12) ruclips.net/video/zaDxzMF8WiM/видео.html&ab_channel=SkunkieDesignsElectronics ruclips.net/video/zaDxzMF8WiM/видео.html&ab_channel=SkunkieDesignsElectronics Skunkie Design Electronics have done a tremendous job on how to fix it ( Some purchase of and soldering of resistors and capacitors This I am going to do tonight...) ruclips.net/video/-szizOWYHac/видео.html&ab_channel=SkunkieDesignsElectronics ruclips.net/video/AY1cYTiQuCE/видео.html&ab_channel=SkunkieDesignsElectronics ruclips.net/video/WQaatvcy6fM/видео.html&ab_channel=SkunkieDesignsElectronics www.skunkiedesigns.com/a12-mods //Magnus
@@vespass225 I just got my a12...wow! This thing is amazing! Even on my cheap Soundstage speakers it sounds amazing! The music is so detailed and comes to life! Best purchase I've made! I love it and love listening to music with it!
@@landienikolaisen7897 Nice that you enjoy it! Try the 6V6 output tubes and a GZ34 rectifier tube, if you have not already. I get my ordered components today to upgrade my A10 to "Skunkie standard" i.e. lifting output from 0.05W to about 5W at 1% THD ( yes , up to advertized spec = 100 times more power...! ) . Exciting! Best regards, Magnus
Holy cow that Iceni platter completely transforms that Rega into something visually STUNNING doesn't it!! Definitely on my list to upgrade, white on white like yours😃
Rather surprised to see you've kept what appears to be the standard-issue Elys cartridge. I'd have to say that might have been most people's first port of call for upgrade.
Very crisp and clear mid and treble. What kind of speakers? What is the phono preamp?
Speakers are Dynaudio emit 30 and the phono preamp is project tube box s2
that look amazing...looks very expensive with the new platter...
Very nice setup! Thanks for sharing...Great sound with very smart choices. Congrats
Thanks
@Tubero Great setup. Can you let me know where you got the spike isolation feet on the Rega? I've been searching for some and cannot seem to find them
Got it from iceniaudio.co.uk/product/iceni-audio-high-quality-isolation-cones/

Sir yung Dynaudio Emit 30 ay 180w, 4 ohms. Kaya sya i-drive nung A10?

.. having said that the Elys 2 is far from being a bad cartridge - and you do seem to have done very well for the overall outlay.
I had to wait almost seven months to get my hands on that pressing. It was worth it, though.
I modded my A10 by following Skunkie Designs excellent A12 instructions. Huge improvement! I also have a P3, but I don’t use it with the A10 system.

What is blinking blue lights in the second row of your cabinet right above the LP cover?
