- A group of Fiat owners took our cars for a track day at Wakefield Park Raceway. There were two X1/9's at this event. This video is to give you an idea of what the weekend is like.

Mate what an absolute fabulous car the X19 is absolutely is a stunning looking machine that design is perfect even with those big American bumpers that I don’t like it looks outstanding
I wish I had of kept maybe not the one I had but a good unmolested example
It always strikes me how delicate the car is I mean it’s so light even if you stuff an alfa romeo V6 in the back and people have done it
it completely stuffs up the car and it’s only any good in a straight line so On a track day like this it kind of defeats the purpose to some extent the only problem with them is that just under powered from the factory that’s my only complaint
The solution to the problem to my mind is turbocharged or supercharged motors and something you never see in a Fiat X1/9
and that is the good old giggle guess yes……

Brilliant! I’m also surprised - disappointed, actually - at how little footage there is of X1/9s used in anger. Love both the Xs shown here, especially Dave’s. You’re right, Mark; his flares look great.
Used in anger makes me laugh. Getting the X1/9 on the track really teaches you how far you can push it. It’s safe and there are also trainers available for free.

In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025
on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!! (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN & BEFVO laws)
