Hey y’all I thought I should make this video to show some appreciation towards Brian and Howie’s friendship. If you couldn’t already tell they’re friendship is pretty underrated and I hope you all enjoyed this video.
...I was 2,447 Years Old when B-Boys were THE thing, so that whole phonomenon passed me by....but I got a Greatest Hits CD called "Chapter One" recently, and it's POP PERFECTION! ...I saw the CD cover, and the FIRST thing I thought was, "..the Blonde & the round-eyed One were probably the BEST of Friends..." ...nice to know I was RIGHT....(3:26)
Very much appreciate this video and hope you'll make a part 2 please? During the NKOTBSB tour, the number of times Brian looked to Howie for an encouraging nod or grin did actually surprise me. Once in ALAYLM (the June 8 or 9 performance in Toronto), Brian was late to his spot and AJ didn't notice but Howie kept an eye on Brian and, when B looked to H, H gave him an encouraging look that said "You're ok" and so B smoothly joined the dance routine. Another sweet moment was during the opener of Single/The One mashup (Montreal) where, while starting to sing The One, Brian tried to tickle Howie but Howie tickled him instead then they shared a laugh and both were still grinning while singing. So many, I can't list them all because then this would become a dissertation lol.

Howie D and AJ. Their brotherhood/friendship runs deep. You can see and feel the love they have for each other. AJ is always looking for his Howie D, especially when it was the 4 of them at the time. Howie knows about AJ, like that AJ's grandmother was the one that always took him to McDonald's. Howie and Nick. Love those two, although frack and frick is nice, I love seeing Howie and Nick. They fight, but Howie is there. In interviews, Howie will tell you something about Nick, like he loves sweet or something.
They are musically. They were considered the backing members of the group for so long. In the sense of relationships, it is definitely Howie and Brian, the most underrated because people can easily pair Howie and Kevin together - the oldest, most professional members - and Nick and AJ together as the two youngest, charismatic, flamboyant and rebellious members of the group ( well, I don't know about Nick anymore, but maybe AJ???). It is much harder to guess that Brian and Howie are very close as well because Brian was and continues to be the class clown type of person while Howie is, though he has learn to laugh and play more , definitely STILL the more serious of the two guys. At first glance, you could easily pair Brian with AJ or Nick since those two like goofing off, being spontaneous and having fun just like Brian does, BUT just like Howie, Brian has a hidden (why?) loving, protective side of him. So even though they have obvious differences there are similarities as well.
