I have that battery that the cells are removed but the board with the wires was clipped @ the battery. Anyway you can show me where the wires go if I buy new cells? I looked at video but I couldn’t see where they went after they go around the cells I can’t see where they connected. I don’t need to use the bottom tabs for drop in charger. I’ll be plugging it in the charge port. There’s 7 total wires.thank you, KG4ENZ. Update I used only the plug, no board and put in 3x18650. Charges with a 12volt 2 amp wall wart.
Thank you for visiting my channel. Regarding the connection between the battery and the board, I would like to upload it if I have time. The connection is basically the same as the original. Solder the charging terminal at the bottom and the board leading to the main unit so that you do not mistake the plus or minus. Also, the temperature sensor may have polarity, so connect it in the same way as the original. I hope your battery will be repaired successfully. Thank you.
@@vsmichael1 I understand that you are using an 18650 lithium-ion battery. Then I don't think it is necessary to connect the wire to the board. In the first place, this era is compatible with NiCd batteries. Sure, the board only manages the voltage, but I've never experimented with it, so I'm not sure if it will recognize the lithium-ion battery even if it's connected correctly. The purpose of this video of mine is to replace the battery cheaply. Thank you.
Thank you for visiting my channel. 1.2v700mA Ni-Cd size AA cell was purchased from Amazon. Since the IC-02N is a fairly old radio, I think it is appropriate to match it. Thank you. Terima kasih telah mengunjungi saluran saya. Sel AA ukuran Ni-Cd 1.2v700mA dibeli dari Amazon. Karena IC-02N adalah radio yang cukup tua, saya pikir cocok untuk mencocokkannya. Terima kasih.
I'm sorry to keep you waiting. I changed the battery of IC-PB3. This time I used 700mAH batteries, but if possible I would like to use 2,000mAH batteries. But it is very expensive.
Thank you for posting this, it helped me replace the cells in mine. 73 de KS1U

Thank you for watching my channel.
Please replace the cell and use it for a long time.
Thank you.
Why use heavy Ni-Mh when Li-ions are less than half the weight and recharge many more times?.
Thank you for visiting my channel.
The reason is simple. I was able to buy it cheaply (^^)…
Thank you.
