So far I have done a few pork butts and did my first brisket, the brisket could be improved but the pork butts were amazing. Absolutely love the smoker
@@frogsbbq5630 No I bought one BUT not opening it until Christmas. It's my gift to myself! Hahaha I have another smoker that I will do one last big smoke before I swap to the new one. Any suggestions for the last hurrah gents?
Hi Justin, The pellet consumption depends on the outside temperature as well. Let's say I cook in the summer, I use 1.5lbs of pellets per hour. I recon you could use it for around 18 hours
Hi Tim, thank you for watching my videos! Yes I did it to ease the cleaning at the beginning but I have removed it as apparently it can cause a grease fire.
@@frogsbbq5630 Oh that makes sense !! I was gonna do the same luckily I havent yet. Love the idea of using mustard as the binder, made some ribs last night and they came out beautiful
I normally don't do it with thin pieces of meat. I always do it with big pieces like briskets, beef ribs, pulled pork.. I will try on the next spare ribs to let it rest, I will let you know the difference Thank you for watching my videos, much appreciated
Your ribs looked wonderful, 2 questions. What brand is the apple rub that you put on them, and also, what mixture is your apple cider vinegar/ apple juice? Can hardly wait to try these, my new Navigator is coming in a few days.
Thank you for watching my videos I did the rub myself with dried apples which I grounded, brown sugar (not too much, the apples are already sweet), salt, paprika. For the spray, it is 50% apple cider vinegar and 50% apple juice, shake it well I am sure you will enjoy your Navigator, I use mine at least 3 times a week
It is a good smoker, easy to use. Let me know how it goes. Knife is the next purchase on my very long list! Thanks for watching my videos, much appreciated
Love your work. I'm getting one of these smokers tomorrow
Thanks for your message. Good luck with your new grill, let us know how it goes
I'm getting mine tomorrow. How is it going? Food looks amaze balls

Does the foil on the bottom affect cook
Hey mate looking at buying one of these. Curious to know how many hours u get out of the grill when pellet box is full and cooking low and slow

Do you have tin foil wrapped around the part under the grills ? What's the benefit to this? Easier clean?

Have you thought about letting them rest after the cook? Like put em in a cooler and sit for an hour before cutting and eating? Good video though

Buying one of these smokers in a fortnight. Can’t wait.
Def invest in a nice serrated knife too mate.
Nice looking ribs

Hi do u just set it at smoke in the dial?
@@1959tammy No 110C for the ribs, smoke is more like 85C. I produce quite a lot of smoke at 110C
The mustard does nothing. The trick is in a good rub, and let it sit in the fridge for 30-60 minutes.
Thank you, that's a good tip
Big no no with the foil
