Bella Vista sees increase in aggressive black vultures

The commission says that black vultures and turkey vultures play an important role in the ecosystem by eating dead animals, but that the aggression exhibited by black vultures can cause issues for cattle ranchers and livestock.

Big difference between turkey vultures and black vultures . Black vultures prey on live animals also not just dead. Turkey vultures the ones with red heads eat carrion.

Exactly. I was just going to say that black vultures are literally "sky wolves", they hunt in packs and they prey on live animals. I have also never seen a black vulture eating and other road kill other than freshly killed skunks. And there is enough dead stuff to feed a LOT of them. I do not see near as many of the red faced vultures that I used to, either.

In some parts of Florida, vultures will chew the rubber parts off your car, like window seals and wiper blades.
