We have met so many interesting, fascinating people while traveling. Sometimes it might be only traveling a few miles from home in the U.S. or heading over to Europe, Canada or Mexico. People are basically the same all over....a friendly smile or hello is the beginning to having a great conversation allowing one to learn about people we might otherwise simply pass by. You two are the ultimate experts at doing this.

Lots of cool people. It is amazing how paths cross. It is a big planet, but a small world! I was particularly surprised by the Sydney skyline. It has really grown. Kind of looks like Miami.

Fantastic episode guys, but I'm a little disappointed with the jump from Byron Bay to Sydney, the north and central coast of NSW is absolutely beautiful but you skipped it.
Hey! I understand … we had so so much footage we did a few inland and coastal detours but I eventually chose to show only the encounters … it s a beautiful state for sure
If we could turn back in time we would be in the same situation we were in when it was time to choose a vehicle. LR were more affordable/available than a Toyota in France (toy are heavily taxed and have to be imported, there are almost none). So that would not be a question for us. Now... at the time if we had the option we might have chosen the toy . but in retrospect knowing the amazing LR community and also knowing the toy breaks as well on such long journeys (based on other friends travelling who also had quite a few mechanical issues) we might still choose a def.

Little tip: use tea bags to absorb moisture. Just leave an open packet of dry tea bags in your vehicle. Moisture solved.
