Another shader that can work well with this exotic ornament is scarlet semblance, which just like crucible alizarin drops randomly at the end of crucible matches. Would still recommend alizarin over semblance because the colour is closer to the red death!
You know what would be iconic? A super shotgun ornament for Conditional Finality. I guarantee people will pull out their wallets on day one to buy that. Literally easy money for Bungie.

Me. I would buy that. Copyright wouldn’t be an issue since shorty shotguns have existed since the 1800’s…Doom doesn’t have a copyright on that. Lmao
Apparently the new look of the red death is based on the original concept art for the red death exotic, and with that knowledge I think I appreciate the new look a lot more but I will still be grinding for that old ornament.
The new version isn't that bad though, the thing is that we did fall in love with the d1 design

This is the first vid I've seen of the ornament in hand in the live game -- I'm the bungie artist who did both models for D2! Was an awesome assignment because Red Death was one of my favorite pvp weapons in D1.

Good job! I especially love what you did with the ammo counter! My only nitpick is the lack of skull in the sight but I can get over that!

I hope they do more red death ornaments, I'd like to see a ornament that looks like the crimson exotic
I remember D1 ornaments for the weapon, one was white with blood much like crimson, and another with was all spiky

I got that shader last year and I really like it, the Ghost of the deep set looks awesome with it.

Just go to show D1 looks were a different level back in the day. The kvostov ornament looks better than normal gun, just like this one. I know they were paying tribute to og drawing board look but it just missing special look
If they’re going to do more ornaments for this which they probably will I think an ornament where the gun is wrapped in barbed wire would look great that’s if bungie wants to keep the sharp, dangerous look to the gun.

Well, there are changes to the ornament. Obviously the glowing is new. But the optic is also different.

you have 4 months btw because of the extended seasons now there are only 3 per year, so it won't be hard to level normally to max
