Great shave Paul 💈 So clever the resin handles with all the different types I love them. Gorgeous flowers Mrs H 🌸 Roast chicken with all the trimmings for us today with of course Lashento's! Hope your enjoyed your Pork. Have a great rest of Sunday both 💈🌸💈
Some classic products here. Yaqi, tobs, merkur, nivea. What else you want for a nice shave? High end expensive products are good but also high end cheap products are also good. Thank you and Mrs H for her arrangements.
Nothing says it like flowers 🌸 Thnx for the art. Parker 78r, Sterling coniferous soap, sharp dura- blade 1st, sterling boar, Dura lemon cologne. The best
Hi Paul. SOTD: Hoffritz slant razor, Astra green 5th use, Tabac shaving soap, 24 mm synthetic brush with Scottish whiskey oak barrel handle made in Dundee Scotland. MOTD: hotdogs if I'm lucky. Always enjoy your shave presentations.
It’s a week later checking out this vid👌I’m looking today at a shave with the Fine Superlite Slant with the new King C Gillette blade and Peppermint tobs👌 Cheers🥃
Good morning Paul... great conversation great Sunday shave. My Sunday shave is a mix match of items I haven't used for awhile. Razor is the Shaving Club Fat Guy with a Gillett Blue blade. Brush is my AP 24 mm Cashmere knot with the marble grey handle. Soap is A & E Peach and Cognac. Aftershave splash is Master Soap Creation Most Wanted. Finish it off with Rocky Mountain Barber Company Shaving Balm. It's quite warm here too this weekend. We've been spending a lot of time outside enjoying nature. This might be our last nice weekend before the weather starts getting crappy. Please say hello to Mrs H. Take care
More pink flowers and another enjoyable Sunday shave. When I went back to traditional wet shaving, I tried the pre-shave oils and soaps. Like you, I soon realized that any shaving soap could be used as a pre-shave. My SOTD was an easy one. Nivea liquid shaving soap in the green pump bottle. A couple of pumps onto my Yaqi Sagrada Familia brush, a face lather, and a 3-pass shave with my Rockwell 6S using a Wilkinson Sword (Germany) blade. Post-shave was alum, witch hazel, Mennen Afta Skin Conditioner, and Clubman Reserve Whiskey Woods splash. Can't beat a relaxing Sunday shave! Now on to your Wednesday shave!
Very nice. Tobs makes some nice creams. And the fish you talked bout sounded great. We enjoy it from time to time. Had atlantic salmon last week with wild rice. Very nice. My sotd was a cold shave with proraso green soap and after shave. Used the parker 96r with a derby blade. You and mrs h have a great week
Paul🪒💈 Great shave and glad no invasive crimson to interfere with Mrs H's glorious display, thanks to both. TOBS Grapefruit is a real pleasure to use, unique and realistic. So I've just returned from the skin doctor and am healing up from abuse I took at the appt., with more work to be done yet. I'm missing my shaves badly, but doctor's orders. Good products used and the results were fantastic, thanks. Meal sounds delicious, do enjoy! Have a good week ahead.
Happy Sunday Paul! The flowers always cheer me, thank you Mrs. H!! Great shave Paul. I really do enjoy watching your enjoyment and hearing your banter. Those vintage blades are smooth. I think the reason for this smoothness is the fact the first generation stainless steel blade were a bit rough. If you get a chance to shave with a pre-1966 Wilkinson Sword stainless blade, you will know what I mean. Anyways, you got a very good blade there in that Gillette Platinum. Take care.
Hi Paul- Great weekend shave; thank you! You used a very nice range of products for the shave. The TOBS grapefruit is definitely a realistic scent. A very lovely flower arrangement from Mrs H; many thanks to her, as alway. I hope you have a wonderful day today and a great start to your week. Be safe and be well. See you on Wednesday for the mid-week shave. Best regards, as always, Paul!
Fiances are pretty tough for many of us, luckily I have a small stockpile of soaps, creams and blades to keep me going until the end of the century ... lol ...👍🤠
Hiya Paul. Loving the floral display by Mrs. H. No Sunday Shave for me. I had a great Saturday night shave. Proraso Red soap, Muhle Hexagon Razor (in the bronze colour), and a second use TATRA Platinum blade. If you haven't tried the Tatra or TIger platinum blades (apparently same blade, different name) from Czech Blades, or the Tatra or Tiger superior (same blade, no coating), I highly recommend you try them. They also make a range of carbon steel blades but lots of people aren't particularly fond of them. No specific Sunday dinner plans today. It appears that the Thayer's Peach is discontinued.
Quite right about the variables. Try many different combos and use what works for you. It's also fun to try different razors, soaps, etc. which is partially how my collection began. You're good company as always. Have a fantastic week my friend.
I kind of like the Merkur Bakelite razor. It was one of the first razors I bought. Am eager to try it with one of the London Bridge blades I have now. I got a tuck of those because I saw you using them.
Always try to get battered haddock when going to a chippy takeaway 👍 birds eye battered haddocks are ok for quick meal at home , what did u get yours from ? 🐟
Great shave Paul and I know what your talking about when it comes to being frugal in these tight time's. The wife told me to stop buying shaving stuff and it's been a few weeks now and I think I need therapy 🙃. Anyhoo be Kool and keep laughing 👍 🤪✌️
The Nivea is a aftershave and balm in one really, but in this shave I treated just as a balm, it's quite mild in scent, so was able to use the Eau De Cologne too.
“Yup overdoing it” - meanwhile he continues to maneuver the razor on his face with enjoyment. 😂 As always great shave your Shaving Highness! Take care! 👍
SOTD- Yaqi Purple Haze, Personna Med Prep 1st use, Muhle R41, The Artisan’s Republic Lavender soap, Thayers Lavender, Florida Water, Nivea Crème
MOTD- Grilled pork chops, baked sweet potatoes, corn on the cob, asparagus, and cucumber/tomato salad
😀👍🏼🇺🇸🏴💐🪒🌶🍺

Beautiful shave 🪒!

I purchased TOBS grapefruit after watching one of your videos and it’s one of my favorites.
That's great Lee, it's a nice shaving cream isn't it.
top sunday shave👍
I am a new viewer to your channel, ❤ your shavings but can you please mention where you buy these items
The Merkur 45 i use it on the head, just quite smoother than the Razorock BBS razor.
Another excellent shave Paul...happy Sunday 🌹🌹🌹
Thanks, and all the best 🙂
I kind of like the Merkur Bakelite razor. It was one of the first razors I bought. Am eager to try it with one of the London Bridge blades I have now. I got a tuck of those because I saw you using them.
It is a nice razor, great idea trying the London Bridge blades in it, many thanks.
"Do You Like Fish" oh yeah me of course! :P

Many thanks, yes to stop buying stuff is quite difficult isn't it lol. All the best 🙂
Great shave as usual, Paul.
Thank you 🙂
Why 3 after shave ? I don’t understand
The Nivea is a aftershave and balm in one really, but in this shave I treated just as a balm, it's quite mild in scent, so was able to use the Eau De Cologne too.
