I have one elite 1 and two elite 2 controllers and the fact that I can assign commands to A, B, X, & Y that I can't do on the elite 1 makes it just that much better. It's a lot better when I can have record what happened set to the B button that makes clipping great moments so much easier.
Tip for controller: Aim assist dosent work if You don't move the campera, to "aimbot" someone, i reccomend moving the camera VERY slightly, this way aim assist is still active and You can beam the shite out of the lobby (Won't work if someone is very far away)
I remember comp Fortnite players complained about controller Aim Assist being too OP on PC, so epic nerfed it heavily. Funny how that change didn't do jack, because people are still getting beamed by controller players.
If you're on playstation then I'd recommend the victrix pro BFG controller. It has trigger stops, 4 back buttons and it's fully modular so you can go offset or horizontal thumbsticks if you wanted. The controller is $180 btw.
