I must say, I get the grind for your main like this. I am a Ganyu main, top 1% for a shim melt. 2127/258k people, it’s hard and annoying to do but it feels so good when you finally get there.
Just some info for u as a fellow yoimiya enjoyer who just got thundering pulse as well: the bows passive doesn’t synergize with 4pc shime because its passive gives you 40% normal attack dmg bonus when you have all 3 stacks. The third stack is gained when your burst isn’t full so if your going to run 4 pc shime, you probably want to avoid ER as much as possible so you get the maximum damage out of thundering pulse’s passive. Otherwise, you’ll get your burst back halfway through your rotation and lose 16% normal attack dmg
u wont if u burst before the rotation, then all other characters, feed her favonius so she gets 10 energy and then E, then for the next rotation u wont get it before u did ur dmg, thats how i do it

If it makes you feel better, my weapon pulls went the same way. Last time, I got Kagura's Verity twice and didn't have enough to keep going. This time, I got Engulfing Lightning and Aquila Favonia before FINALLY getting her bow. She's worth it, but it hurts still.
btw if you're trying to improve your akasha ranking, their system heavily favors crit stats over anything else, so pieces that are actually really good like that 50+ em double crit feather aren't listed as such when thrown into the akasha
No it doesn't, it favors actual damage. You can find tons of examples of people with lower cv getting a higher ranking because they have more atk or em. Using a calculator like Aspirine can help you get a higher rating on Akasha.

A little trivia info for all current and future Yoimiya Mains. DEF % is a bad stat and you would prefer any offensive stats- but its a bit more usefull on her than on other DPS. Her best team has Zhongli in it since she wants to get to her final auto attack every time. You usually dont have a healer on that team though. Now: The durability of any shield is also based on how much DEF the active character has. Thats why Noelles shield seems so strong. Since she takes less dmg so the shields HP does too. So whenever you have 1 or 2 DEF % ... Despite still being bad - still has its use.
just a heads up, it is really really really hard to improve one rank once you reach the top 100. I was the 76th best 4pc sr yoimiya and one day I got a good goblet. which pushed me to 36th best yoimiya. that was 6 months ago. today I am in 35th place. just stay motivated and you will eventually reach there. btw i love this series : )
I've not worked on my Yoimiya in quite some time cause I like to improve all my chars so she's been sitting at 90/240 for over a year at this point and she's lost like 500+ rankings on akasha. While I don't enjoy her being pushed further down the rung I am in no way ashamed of her stats or performance, though that isn't to say I don't want to further improve on her someday, it's just rather difficult to get a GG pyro goblet. Anyways as a fellow Yoimiya fan congrats on getting her weapon sorry your rolls weren't favorable and congrats on getting some new pieces for her as well.
Idk i just recently got back into the game but i think my yoimia is decent 2.8k dmg with 63 cr and 247 cd running 4-piece shime. She is consistent with criting around 40-60k by herself and around 80-100k with reactions
my yoimiya is actually like insane i can get her to 60 crit rate with 198 critdamage without a crit damage weapon, im so close to 200 with rust it will be my first 200+ cirt damage character that can actually crit
idk why you’re calling that goblet bad, 14 crit rate onset? it’s not like PERFECT but it’s not abysmal like you say. maybe you’re reading it was 14 crit dmg or something??
the reason he called it bad was because all of the other stats weren't useful probably, not to mention when you're going for a PERFECT yoimiya, then settling for just 14 crit rate really isn't good enough.

Does it? I thought it calculated dmg. I havent looked at it for Yoimiya, but for Raiden it calculates based on the first slash of the burst.
For the Diluc ratings I picked a slightly worse CV one but with more EM and went up 2%... Prolly different for the Yoimiya one tho so

PLEASE use a damage calculator like Aspirine. A "trash" piece can actually be one of your best in terms of actual damage.
