He is perfection! I had the honor of seeing David perform with Svetlana Zakharova in Giselle a few years back in the U.S. - it was ethereal perfection: one of the most moving experiences of my entire life.
+María Trujillo Probablemente sea una clase de calentamiento previa a un día de ensayos, si bien entiendo la etiqueta y protocolo de la danza clásica, creo que también es respetable permitir a cada bailarín hacer lo que crea más acorde dentro de la clase planteada para preparar su cuerpo. No creo que estén tomando ésta clase por fines académicos, o sí ?
I was watching for Steven McRae, but I guess he wasn’t “star” enough for the photographer. I know David Hallberg was obviously the male draw here, bc we got to see so many shots of him preening before the mirror (which to me is a true sign of insecurity), but for my money, McRrae is a much more exciting performer.
+88888Di88888 you sound very biased, one thing I enjoy from thw Cuban ballet is that they interpret charecters better, in my opinion, they give a more artistic feel to me. Also, yo do know that there are other types of dancing than balanchin right? Balanchine is not obligatory. Obviously everyone has their own favorite ballet styles and companies, but dont say that the cuban ballet is lower than others.
Obviously the dancer's from Cuba benefit from it because their the finest classical dancers in the world. Dancer's should learn to adapt to any music, it's called rhythm and timing (technique).

Hace 10 años una clases con bailarines profesionales era más organizada, mayor respeto a la clase, era un ritual.

That's so stupid , everyone of those company's you mentioned has a principle dancer that was trained in Cuba !!
