- Dan Levy joins Hoda & Jenna to talk about directing his first feature film, “Good Grief,” a comedy-drama on Netflix that he also stars in. He opens up about exploring uncharted dramatic territory after concluding the hit comedy series “Schitt's Creek.” He’s then joined by co-stars Hamish Patel and Ruth Negga who dish on a unique trip they took to build chemistry for the film.

I can't even pick my favorite actor on the show because they all were SO GOOD.
I really respect Dan for not making his next project a comedy, for branching out, seeking other possibilities. He could have easily sat back and done something in the style of S.C. What a gem. 😊💛
I really hope Dan is ultimately very proud of this movie, he should be. It truly is a beautifully written story. I've already watched it twice.

I just watched his film today, and have always loved him. His character was so vulnerable and sad, I just wanted to wrap him in my arms and take care of him. Such a great talent. I look forward to more of his works.
Loved loved loved the movie which took on a topic we are all like kindergarteners with/ inexperienced with....death, loss, love and surviving it. Well done, Mr Levy.

I loved this movie. It was honest... and, well calm. It went at a good pace, never felt like it was too little or too much. Bravo Dan!!

😍😍 I fell in love with Dan Levy on Schitt's Creek. Loved that sitcom. The character Roland gave me anxiety in the first episodes, but I'm glad I stuck to the show until Roland wasn't too predominant.

I almost didn't watch Schitt's Creek simply because of the Roland actor. But decided to try it and was excited to love it

SHUT UP! His dad is Mr. Eugene Levy? Eugene is the best! Loved him in bringing down the house. Eugene is the funniest man in the planet!
His dad Eugene was also his character’s dad in Schitt’s Creek, which took me a couple of episodes to get in to, but then LOVED it! I watched the series twice. I’m recommending it to you, highly.
How could you not have seen the resemblance? A true SCTV fan would have known that face anywhere. And yes, that's why the dynamic was so great in Schitts Creek

@@b.k8051 Nope his first job was at GAP kids and then several "normal jobs" ! Eugene Levy is very famous in Canada and in the comedy department in the US. But he is not that mainstream. Maybe opened a few doors, but his talent in writing and directing cannot be denied. You're just a typical hater.
