Robin Williams stars in a lame sci-fi thriller with no pulse and a depressing ending.
I can see its not for everyone
This movie couldn’t be made today, but technology was a lot different 20 years ago. People still thought physical media was all there is. Nowadays this movie makes no sense.
I like the film but i found it contrived that because the guy wiped his glasses on his shirt then he must be the adult version of a kid who did the same thing decades ago.
Millions of people clean their glasses like that.
Sounds like a real giant bummer of a ending a waste of Mira,Jim and especially Robin's talents IMHO. Awesome job on the review bro👍👍

when facebook first started testing vr they gave out glasses that recorded individuals 24/7 and had no vr features at all.
the idea is clear.
one programmer made application that tracked those users footsteps recording every step taken to be seen visually at a later time, another created mapped 360 campus area using the data from these glasses, the theory that someones life can be recorded and played back with "highlight reels" the day after was played around with. circa 2015-2016..
This looks like the sci fi version of one hour photo. But that was a great movie. I didn’t even hear about this before. I’d think rather watch Death to Smoochy.
I also wonder how the people watching the Truman show. Did they watch Truman when he was taking a crap? Probably…
I think in the movie scenes like that cut to an exterior shot.
@@NateTheGnat the audience do talk when truman is doing something like being with the wife and such, it cuts to a window or an exterior shot. so probably that.
