Good work Andrew. Tough job. Was great help in assisting me in dismantling and repairing EUCLA pump

Hi Andrew, our grinder got blocked with a small piece of metal from our coffee storage container which we removed. The top part of the grinder which sits on the cone now spins and comes loose and the beans just spin around. We get the fill beans container message. I’ve tried locking the top piece in place with different positions but it keeps moving. I’m not sure if the grinder tray needs to be removed for an adjustment which I can’t see. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you for the video @Andrew! I have Gran Dama ESAM 6600 and it does not make long coffee((( May I ask for your advice and opinion?

Great help in replacing the generator on mine. I’m getting really hot coffee now but the display doesn’t change from” ready for coffee “ to “ready” so I can’t make cappuccinos. I press the button and the screen say “heating up, please wait” any ideas what the cause could be?

I'm told you would require a steam boiler as your LED displays 'ready for coffee' instead of 'ready for use'. Apparently this means the steam side has failed.

I have a prima donna avant and cant get the top panel off, are you able to help me out? Ive removed all screws but the grind dial in the bean holder pot keeps trying to come up with the top panel as I need to access heating element

Thanks for the video. I just want to know what the possible problem is when there's a "General Alarm" warning on the screen. There are some cleaning solutions but it didn't wrok for me. What is your opinion? Thanks..

Thanks for the question, "general Alarm" is tricky, I found this link I hope it helps. outwestcoffee.com.au/index.php/2015/12/14/what-does-general-alarm-or-generic-alarm-mean-on-my-delonghi-coffee-machine/

Thanks, but it seems that i cannot solve this problem by myself. I think i have to take it to an authorized service. Hope they'll solve it cheaply. 🙂

Hi, I have the same machine and it leaks water but only when I descale it. Any help would be appreciated?

Next time you descale, first take off the back panel and observe. You'll likely see one of the hoses leaking. From a bad connection or abrading due to vibration. I've had my machine for years and replaced many of the lines and pumps. Still makes great coffee/espresso.

@@BobPritchard Thanks, but I've since bought a new machine and sold that one.
