i dont really care about the lack of weapons or the story i just like playing it, its fun it cool theres multiplayer so i dont care about those problems the game is cool and i like it

However, it shifts away from the fast and furious gameplay of the first and second games over to a more flashy, cutscene reliant style, which detracts from the franchises strengths. In the last game you could use almost any wall to bounce off of, while in this one Ryu has to fight in a more conventional straight up style this time around. The more linear gameplay is also a trend shifter. On a more positive note, I loved how so many characters fought alongside you.

In my opinion, they sacrificed lots of in game content and tried to make the game a lot more action packaged and Story Oriented. At first I was very much angry at what they removed, but since I'm a story person I liked how they worked on Ryu character and for me it compensated the little lack of gameplay. It would be awsome if in the next game they could combine the two of them though...

NG3=not many weapons.actually only 1 handed sword not dual wield or anything else like the scythe etc.just 1 sword but music was DAMN THE BEST and it fitted right into that game 100% plus i hear metal much.it was a dream game for me.

I don't think that NG3 is as bad a people say. Yeah okay...there isn't really any items at all to collect nor is there different ninpo powers, but the story in NG3 was in my opinion really good. So yeah the game wasn't perfect, but it's a good game and doesn't deserve 1/10 at all!

this game is the hardest of all of them. especially on Ultimate Ninja. it beats the rest of Ninja Gaiden series on Razor's Edge.
I don't know for me this game was the easiest out of them all, NG2 is probably the hardest for me

Nowadays, it seems the best way to tell if a game is going to be good is by the amount of butthurt it generates among the fanboy's.
Ninja Gaiden 3 was spammy with unblockable throw moves by enemies. But the NG3: Razor was a nice fix and balance of everything.
