Here what I find so amusing about women they naively think that they are the ONLY ones with standards. You having a Phd or being President of a company is not adding anything of value to my life, but that younger woman, if she can cook and take care of my needs is, and if your a single mom that adds a whole new set of issues to be dealt with as well. Men are going to ask themselves what is she bringing to the table to make this worth the effort.
Don't forget there is a war on men, mainly White men. They relentlessly villainize young White males. Vast resources are given to promote careers, education and employment of girls.

I find this article hilarious. The premise is that women want men to be as successful as them. I'm glad back in the 60's men didn't feel this way, I might not have been born. Men didn't feel this way about women, so why do women feel this way about men? Women want men on their level, so what your saying in a sense is men were much more accepting of women when they wanted to be at home taking care of the family, then they are today of men being pushed into the same role.

It's probably because the study is focusing on the younger generation of men. The older men are the ones who would imbalance the skew between genders in the pay gap. So the next generation will most likely see an imbalance in gender pay towards women except this time it's less the result of free market which made men the dominant earner (with some sexism/corruption for sure) and more a manufactured problem due to diversity hiring. This is what happens when you use one extreme to fight the other. The cycle of fear and hatred continues.

There's no greater reward than having children of your own though. Once women get intro their 40's and haven't had kids, they are generally miserable, but half the time they realised it too late. What personality?
Wives who earn more than their husbands are much more likely to divorce. They're old and can't have children anymore, are bitter and hate men because of it. They have careers and don't have time for whatever is left of the family. And then men have to deal with all this and it's all men's fault.
Why I don’t date women:
1. Initial requirements: I have to make more money than her. I have to be atleast moderately attractive, tall, and fit. And I must respect her progressive wishes whilst also upholding traditional chivalry towards her.
2. Dating: Uphold traditions like paying things for her and acting manly all the time for her whilst also showing my emotions, but not too much emotion to where I look wimpy. And listening to her rambles on anything and everything less I look like I don’t love her whilst she can casual dismiss any of my interests if she’s not interested.
3. Marriage: working a job I probably hate in order to support our family. If she’s a stay at home mom, she’ll probably complain how she works all day cleaning the house and cooking dinner whilst I just lay around after an exhausting day of work I hate.
If she has her own job, then I’m paying more money for the nanny or daycare we pay for for the kid, whilst also paying for everything else and her just getting to keep her money for herself and not feeling obligated to spend it on the family.
4. If things go south: I have to give her half the shit I probably bought with my money. She’ll win custody most likely and most likely I’ll be paying child support.
And what do I get from all this risk and labor? The prospect of sex (that she’ll use like a reward for good behavior, most likely) and the satisfaction of fatherhood and being a provider? Love and affection if I meet the requirements?
It’s just not worth it. There’s too much that’s just bullshit about it all. Love is dead. Atleast traditional love is. Actual love. Love to me was always just finding someone who was your best friend that you felt uncomfortably giddy around. Someone that made your knees weak when you saw them and you could sit and talk for hours with. Someone that didn’t care if you were fat or short or flat or poor. Who you never felt annoyed or bored being around, even if you were doing nothing. Someone who was loyal to you and appreciated you and you to them and you told them that everyday without thinking about it.

I personally wouldn't mind being the reverse and being a SAHD. I believe kids should be raised by their parents not daycare. I'm a blue collar guy who wouldn't abandon my family to not make it for mountains of college debt. I'm the oldest and refused to put my needs first over my parents, and younger sisters.

A while back a friend told me "you'd make a great mom," after seeing me interact with my nephew and nieces. I considered it a tremendous compliment :D I don't really care what feminists and their ilk think of motherhood. If I'm fortunate enough to get married and have a family, I'm definitely going to be a stay-at-home mother. My mom is, and my siblings and I benefitted so much from the fact that she was always there for us- whether we needed to talk, wanted her opinion on our school-work (or help, if it was chemistry), or just wanted another human being in the house to be up and about when we had to pull an all-nighter. I'd like to be able to do that for my (hypothetical) kids, too. (First I have to marry a man who will be a good father, amongst other things. Kids *need* a father to be active in their lives.)

Men typically are harder workers that work more hours, so if a guy works 12 hrs per day while a woman works 8 per day while making the same wage, they are equal, their argument is comparing the amount of each ones paycheck, you see what I'm saying.if you chose to work more hours you will make more, but they say with that men make more, lol it's a fake argument, with stacked numbers.

My wife did (and still does) get the same reaction. And we homeschool and my wife owns a small business. When you have a good job and financial stability, no substance abuse or violence problems, no previous children, no sexual performance issues, etc...
You can get really paranoid when your girlfriend leaves you and goes back to her ex who has several substance abuse problems, sleeps for about 12 HOURS every day, works a minimum wage job and owes money to everyone, goes on month long manic depressive mood swings, regularly accuses her of cheating, and is generally making her miserable. (I've heard all this first hand from her).
Oh, and we are still friends sharing a common interest in snakes, video games, and pretty compatible political views... We spend time together regularly (gym, gaming, snake handling), so it's not like she fundamentally hates me or my personality.
What am I supposed to take away from all this? If a woman sharing 90% of my interests and passions won't stay with me, then what the fuck chance do I have with the average woman (who inevitably hates snakes)?

us girls that knew we wanted to have a family and be a stay at home mom, we usually get married in our early 20's. I was married at 22 and I took control of my family from day one. We learned to live on my husbands salary, and I worked part time at home around my children's schedules to make a little "fun" money for movies, or eating out. We made it work, we are happy, married for 23 years, my oldest is 21. I feel sorry for all these single women in their late 30's...they might have a career, but chances of having a family now are slim and just gone for most. No one wants to talk about the fact that a woman has full power and most fertile in their early 20's...that is the time to start families, not in your 40's!!

As a single dude, being pretty low income probably isn't even that big of a deal. For years I was comfy spending around $15k/year, and now I'm living large while spending around $20k/year. After a decade of that kind of spending and investing the rest of my income, I basically don't have to work anymore to pay for my basic expenses.
So while I qualify as a "good man" in the sense that I make more money than the vast majority of women, I'd rather not play that role and spend all of my income and accumulated wealth in the process just to temporarily satisfy one woman in exchange for... uh, whatever she'll bring to the table (probably nothing).

Starts deciding that he isn't exciting and maybe she will leave him and not let him see his kid.... Decides to convince him to have a SECOND kid and marries him instead. Couple years later now, he starts complaining because she wont ever let him touch her so she kicks his ass out and takes his house. Now he lives in an apartment and pays his rent plus her mortgage on the house that used to be his.

My husband and I found each other through church. There are much more center-right views in religion, depending. The women tend to lean more conservative which results in a desire to stay home while raising their families. Most women in my circle would stay home with their kids if they could. My husband and I have been blessed to live off of just his income. Raising children is a serious sacrifice for a woman. But no one talks about the advantages of being that support for your children and husband. I worked for a short time last year and my husband and I determined very quickly it was not for us. Everything was falling between the cracks. Our family relationships, desire to be together, kids awards ceremonies... it was not worth the money. No amount of success in the workplace can compensate for failure in the home.
