Back in September 2022, Apple revealed the Dynamic Island, an extension of the despised notch which can show alerts and background content. The waveform thing of the call is not about left or right , its orange when you talk because the microphone indicator is orange .

Great video! I think the dynamic island is a very elegant solution to get rid of the ugly notches of the past. Regarding 3rd party support, I think it's pretty disappointing that for most apps you have to pay a subscription fee in order to take advantage of the island.

The layout for the waveform - outgoing on the right, incoming on left - is the same as iMessage.

Like the only thing I’d use it for is music controls and I don’t look at my phone while I’m listening to music, and controlling it with AirPods is far easier

Good video. Liked and subbed. Unsolicited advice-everything thing about the video is great. Well written, edited, etc. Just try to relax a little more. Your presentation feels a bit wooden. But keep going, you're doing great.😁
That's part of what annoys me about Apple. These days, there's just all kinds of little things that on their own are nothing. But when presented as a whole (like in your video) you can't help but cringe ("WTF Apple"). For a company that prides itself on integration and polish, they've really been slipping a lot in recent years.
