I got a temp check last Monday evening with an apology for responding 3 MONTHS later! I responded the next morning and he’s again not replied back. I’m beyond sick of the games. And yes I blocked him on social media, because why not? He only communicates by liking IG posts and I had enough after him pursuing me for 2 years dating for almost a year where he was hot and cold after 3 months then pushed me away after a pregnancy scare..then insisted I be friends with him while he told me he prefers overweight women, thinks his ex messed him up, then later said he thinks he’s a sex addict (lie) all while still wanting to see me and be intimate. The emotional immaturity is on another level than any other guy I’ve ever dated! But those few moments where he would be open with me hooked me. I just want to get over him, I don’t have the time to deal with this confusion if I want a family

Sounds like COULD BE my story as well... although it's years of no contact now. We have an age gap. This is at least our third go around. We both remember each other from an event in the late 1700/early 1800, remember a very steamy weekend sneaking away together during the 1890s worlds fair, and one other unclear time. In all three of these We decided not to be together. She chose another and I resumed my 'duties'. In most of those I ended my existence in serious heartache. We met again this lifetime... quickly recognized each other and compared that "history". Rec9gnized each other.... then it happened again. She chose another and I had to return to my duty. THIS time around it hurt as bad as the last but THIS time I remembered. And I've NO intention of ending it THAT way again. I decided to heal. To grow. To get past it. I'm fine actually. I'M GOOD. I do miss them but she isn't for me. So I'm ready to move on and I have been TRYING to ritually sever this tie but each time I do the thought grow undeniably loud in my head. I was making it a few days with low/no thoughts and those thoughts were purely analytical. Detached. Yeah be nice to talk and say hi but if it never happens that's fine too. The only problem is.... NOW I cannot STOP thinking about them. It's all day every single damned day and she's dropping into my dreams silently like a ninja... but I see her.
I just want this delusion, or 'calling' - if that's what it is, to just stop. I'm ready to get on with my life. I did my pain and healing so why can't I SHUT THAT OFF?
