Nice method for preping & tying on the marabou tail. Picked up a couple tips I’m going to start using. Thank you for sharing these tying videos.

Also a great fly for the eastern Washington lowland lakes.

Great leech pattern would do quiet well here in my neck of the woods. Mostly stillwater fishing panfish & bass myself. One question you refer too the "erratic hand twist" retrieval method what is that? I heard reference to this method before but wasn't sure what it exactly it is.

The leech pattern you tie is not the same fly you show in the opening segment of your video. That is one of your balanced flies, with the bead on a pin and tied to a jig hook. Why do you show a video of one fly, but then tie a different fly?

Mike S Hi Mike, I had the same concerns when I saw the final version. It is an exception. We rarely show footage of the fly I am tying when it is in action simply because we don't have footage. The fly in the intro is the Bruised Leech which is also on my You Tube page. That fly was already up on the page when we shot the footage you are referring to. My apologies for any confusion the intro footage may have caused.
