This game is not just a game but an experience with memorable bosses. Beating the sorrow took me multiple tries and hours until I finally realized I can look at my inventory when 'dead' I cried for a good while after I beat the game. Great story.
I’m pretty sure that the snake slithering over the End is a reference to Carlos Hathcock (the White feather) who was the greatest sniper during the Vietnam War. He blended in so perfectly that there was an occasion where a snake crawled over his back. He was so camouflaged and moved so extremely slow that Boars and other wildlife would be only a few feet to inches away from him and never notice. There was one time where an enemy soldier almost tripped over him. Because of his amazing skills, he decided to wear a white feather to try and *Even* the odds and give the enemy a better chance at finding him. Where most snipers got a bounty around 1000-3000 dollars, The White feather got a 30,000 dollar bounty
My all time favorite video game. I can’t put the words to explain the nostalgic feeling I get when I watch this!!! Watched my brother play this all the way through so many times during my childhood

The only thing I ever didn’t like about the game was the controls but I only noticed how much I didn’t like them when I went to replay the game on Xbox one about a year ago. When I was younger my parents got me the game for my 3DS and I ended up putting countless amounts of hours into the game. I sadly never finished it when I was younger though and still never was able to to this day
I love how long Volgin just *stood there* waiting for Ocelot to finish his pistol spin show before just telling him “nah, imma fight Snake”. Volgin was a complete troll lol
Because he knows that they won't know how to react to him just casually fucking around with his guns in the middle of a battle, and he'll use it to his advantage to catch them off guard and blow them away?
I imagine if someone actually did shoot whim while he was twirling his guns he'd have the reflexes to actually use them to deflect shots He was knocking hornets out of the sky with them after the boss fight

I remember grinding the camos for each boss. You have to use non Lethals. So you have to use the tranq gun to get their stamina down and then keep using the tranq. That ish takes forever especially with The Fear boss fight. Each camo is pretty cool. From making you invisible ( the fear) to making enemies salute you (volgin) if I’m not mistaken.
i can't aim at nothin worth of crap in this game i am surprissed i got passed the first 2 bosses in this game i can't aim at something far away only up close or mid range but not far
I love all these bosses, but I gotta say.....I wish The Fear was a little more...well....scarier? XD Like, I get that's he's pretty much based on Predator, but I feel like you could have made the fight a little more scary, in both the setting and his tactics. Like if you bring his health down low enough, he runs off and vanishes, but doesn't appear so you have to go after him. Then once you're in a new area, he begins silently hunting you? But then saying that, that sounds way too much like The End's fight XD But just something to give his theme a little more meaning to his Fear.
I can see why The End’s fight was shortened in the video; his boss fight is one of the longest in any game (possibly the longest that isn’t a JRPG boss, unlike Final Fantasy XI a la Absolute Virtue for instance), and also the smartest boss in gaming history next to Mr. Freeze in Arkham City - at least prior to Alien: Isolation’s Xenomorph.
For the River of the Sorrow, I legit had problems on my first playthru. I kept continuing. Until I got a hunch from a Friend. Yes The Revival pill man...
I would so fucking love a remake or something. I just can’t stand the controls but this game was so awesome when I was a kid and still carries to this day.
