Great. But what about the difference in tempo? The loop tempo is 96BPM and in the project it becomes 120BPM. That's what you want: sync to project. But what if it does NOT sync to project...?
If I get what you mean correctly, you would get MIDI which has little relationship to the underlying project. However, you can then timestretch the MIDI to get a different effect, as the transients will still happen at the same time (due to the MIDI), but with the samples being either too slow (so they don't get played completely) or too fast (so there are gaps) - which can be interesting.
@@musictechtuition Thank you. When i dragged the midi file with the slices into the instrument track, the tempo of the project changed tot the tempo of the loop. It went well, when i locked the tempo (on the tempo track) first.
Another great tutorial. Thank you!
Good stuff thanks.
what to do when a hit is not detected? i cant find a way to add a slice manually.
Yes yes yes...thank you...saved me HOURS of tedious work!
I think retrospectieve recording should be activated in the preferences first
