I used to work in charity shops they have a rotation of clothes. So check the tags they should have dates on them. That will be the date they take them off and give them to another shop. The shop you are in will get new stuff from a different one. It's a good system I'd say the rotation date is usually once a month I think.
I did 3 towns and 2 out of town shops yesterday. Then 2 towns and a shopping centre today. Then going to a new town and a further away town tommorow. I think I've pictured about 50 items and listed around 10 so far from yesterday

But George, did you sell everything and how much profit did you make once petrol, food etc taken off, I think we need to see more reality from some of these people, as anyone can walk around buying stuff, but does it sell? And for a profit to make it worthwhile
