If you literally have the attention span that you can't focus on something for 3 minutes you are a lost cause and will never be able to accomplish anything in the real world. TikTok from what I have seen is people doing lip syncing, terrible dancing, and horrible jokes. All the laziest kind of content you can put out. That some people have become rich and famous putting out less then a minute worth of work is just shameful.

Mine is filled with motivational videos, business tactics and lifehacks. I mostly use it while i'm brushing my teeth or waiting for the bus (Data is cheap in China).

-how limitations foster creativity (the short format of the videos)
-the trend towards smaller and smaller doses of content + decreased attention span

I am a old guy I admit I'm 43. I been around before the internet. I see some webpages and popular programs come in and fade away, from napster, to icq, to limewire, to torrents, to myspace and geocities, to youtube and facebook. I have to say that TikTok out of everything I have see is the stupidest website or content I have see. Even music videos are usually 3 - 5 minutes long. If you literally have the attention span that you can't focus on something for 3 minutes you are a lost cause and will never be able to accomplish anything in the real world. TikTok from what I have seen is people doing lip syncing, terrible dancing, and horrible jokes. All the laziest kind of content you can put out. That some people have become rich and famous putting out less then a minute worth of work is just shameful.
