Most don't want to 100 quid plus to get some kind of fortune spins to win a maximum of 500. 2 quid a spin max 500 It's more about land based casinos with tougher licences and needing ID etc. Imagine if bookies went 1k/2k jackpots Casinos would be pointless and put of a job
Thats a tough day at the office, that gamble for the £500 was kinda crazy when you had 24 spins but when chasing normal thinking goes out the window i guess
I was playing Pick N Mix last week, hit the Fields of Gold feature, it got to the end of the first level and landed on "Go On", started spinning the coins for level 2. At this point the terminal completely crashed - it made a high pitched noise and the whole screen went solid green. The attendant restarted the machine, but it hadn't credited any win. The manager then claimed to me he'd "spoken to the company" and "your spin paid £46", which is complete nonsense - I'd already completed level 1 for about £35 and the feature had started level 2, so there's no way in hell that only paid a tenner. Unfortunately some arcades are just unscrupulous, thieving scum. A decent arcade would have paid £500 for that, they'd have just apologised profusely and gone yeah we'll assume the feature would have given you the highest prize it can. Oh, and when I hit the same feature again on a different terminal, I started filming it in case any glitch happened again and the manager immediately came scuttling out of his little lair like a spider, shouting at me that I couldn't film the machines because "copyright on the games."
@@LeoMcevitt and how many times has a manager ever come up to you and gone sorry sir, the machine appears to be malfunctioning, so here's all the money you put in back? Funny how it's never a malfunction when the machine decides you didn't win, isn't it? "Malfunctions voids pays" is intended to protect against instances where the player hasn't actually won anything but an error in the system means winning symbols were displayed. It was quite common, for example, in early video slots for the default screen when the machine booted to be a full screen of the highest symbol. It was never intended to rob players on modern FOBTs of prizes they've actually won because of a software crash. There will actually be a record, somewhere, on a remote server of the outcome of that feature I had, it just definitely wasn't the amount the manager was claiming to me. Or certainly it would be beyond exceptional if it was. If there isn't a record, the technical and auditing rules set out by the regulators for these machines have been broken. Anyway, regardless, a good arcade (and I've been to them) values the players and the amounts they spend and would pay them out for a feature crashing halfway through which might well have given them a jackpot. It's about the standard of customer service. I've had good customer service in other places on the very rare occasions I've experienced machine errors. This was not such an example.
If that was in my arcade I would have asked you how much have you put in, If you lied to me ( I would know immediately) you would have got your credit back only and a reminder that all malfunction voids pay., If you were decent and told me the truth I would have gave you £100.. You are dreaming if you think you'll get £500..
I go that the other day and got the same on the novo super games. I'm interested to know if it';s still like a predetermined bonus or if each spin is random before the start button is pressed?
ha ha on that gold miner deluxe. I was surprised to hear you call the gamble weird. That gamble style takes me back to the 1980s when you had classic fruit machines SPOOF and SNAPHAPPY. They both had that gamble style. I guess slot gambles have moved on since then. Wow I really like the look of that Super Games feature you got some nice wins on that. Congrats
heart in mouth on then feng £500 gamble! so close darren! that lucky ladies super games! i love that you can get more then jackpot!!! that could really go nuts! brutal ending! hopefilly changes next video ! :)
I think once Darren got £500 ahead they just turned the rtp down behind the counter, it's a shame but it's that are ban him, and I think they would like more money out of him before that happens
Honest people like you are thick as shit, they can’t turn the rtp down. They also have literally no need to as the machines will never not make them money.
Age of the gods are quite volatile games, can be hard to get a bonus but then either £1 or £1000. Lol. I play the Age of the Gods Megaways online and it can be a good payer, they have the progressive jackpots too online, iv won the smaller ones a few times. And found myself with some crazy multiplier wins on the bonus feature too. But the opposite end of the scale iv had some very very low feature wins and once got zero 😅
Great guy - think I’ve been watching for 10 years +. However….playing such bad games at the moment. Dislike the online content (just personal preference). You’ve done a great job….massive congratulations. Keep going. Old games are the best!!!!
He can afford to lose now, so chasing from the start then losing has zero consequences to him because he gets the money from the views, definitely ruining lives promoting gambling
The bonus comes in but instead of giving you 15 free spins it gives you £30 in super credit. So each "free spin" or "£2" is like a separate game so it means you could effectively win 15 jackpots from the £30 credit if the machine was paying out silly.
That would never happen in another arcade handpay £500 and allow bonus to continue and win another £439 and let you keep it. Its a glitch on slot i assume. What a result though! 😮
@@StopandStep oh right, i thought bonus would just stop there like all other bonuses do when £500 limit reached. Why did it say call attendant though? Anyways you had a touch by getting jackpot then the extra £439 with remaining spins 👌🏻
I expect be checked the log at the end to be sure the £500 had been recorded (accounted for in RtP). If not, they can contact nova who may reimburse them. Game is dodgy AF. The bonus is basically 15 super spins, which are all independent of each other allowing for a win over £500. Just like old day, when games will drop a credit to repeat jackpot to circumnavigate the rules of over jacpot limit.
Ah the good ol' days of seeing it had dropped a credit so you knew a repeat was imminent (I'm thinking JPMs mainly). That's a crazily cool way for them to 'get round' the £500 limit. No doubt the UKGC will put an end to it before long like anything else decent over here!
Visit stopandstep.com/top-casinos-for-august-2024/ for August's top casino bonuses
Amazed there haven't been more attempts to circumvent the £500 cap. Providers need to up their creativity!
I suspect this will open the floodgates. Or will get quickly nipped in the bud by the UKGC.
The machines are soo volatile now there shouldn't be a 500 cap

Down of course. Long term you can’t beat the mathematical certainty that is the house edge.

Every credit to him 😂
I go that the other day and got the same on the novo super games. I'm interested to know if it';s still like a predetermined bonus or if each spin is random before the start button is pressed?
This would have to be random each spin, as it's treating each super credit as a separate game.
@@StopandStep So do you think the bonus just increases the likelihood of big wins? Like it's not often for a jackpot line to roll in on those games.
@@TheLightofaidanBased on how hard it is to land, each super game will have an average value, eg. £15 or something like that.
It wouldn't be S&S video without the immortal 'is that a line' when it clearly isn't 😂

Darren over all your videos are you up or down ?
I would guarantee if the UKGC looked into that slot, it would be banned. You can't pay for super credit spins, so it is basically a single bonus.

I’m guessing no other arcades would do that though would they? And is that just an introductory ‘bug’ that’ll be rectified?
It's the Super Stake. It does each free spin as a credit so gets past the max limit per game, and instead is max limit per spin.
400+ up then to lose 500£ 😅 900 gone
