Surely it must be possible to exist if like you're the best, unless you don't get mmr when you get paired with lower ranks? Or people are just so inconsistent on switch you lose against lower ranks?
Playing on switch isn't the worst it's just the difference from 240 fps to 30 makes mechanics so much different on switch but people still reach champ or gc on switch and when they switch to like pc their mechanics become smoother and will most likely let them rank up a little easier

I knew eventually a video like this would get made. I quit rocket league a couple months back, I peaked at champ 3, and while I was away from home, or was on the "go" so to speak, I thought "hey, why not get some practice in on my Switch." Oh boy was I wrong. Forget the 30fps on the Switch... the real problem with playing on Switch was the shit joy-cons. I could play games like Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon all day on the Joy-Cons, but trying to do mechanics that are basic to me on pc was making me feel like trash. Speedflip kickoff? Psyche. Ceiling Shots? Yeah... keep dreaming. Advanced Air-dribbles? Ha. Just about the only thing I could do was dribble...maybe flick. The controller just literally sucked for my hands.
i play on switch and got to d3 with joycons, the joycons work really well for my tiny little hands but there are two things that are no bueno, lag, and joycon drift
Diamonds know how to play. They understand possession, they understand like how to flick it... Oh Cbell, you've been away from diamond much too long...
This definitely makes me feel a lot better about being so garbage at RL..I'd never played before or even seen any gameplay until I saw it was free to play on switch..I have about 400 hours now and I'm barely a plat.. just now trying to learn to do arieals because before I was a completely grounded player. And yes I do only use the joycons sometimes with the comfort grip on docked sometimes actually in handheld.
Man I feel like those diamonds just gave the SSL's WAAAAAAAY too much respect. Like they just gave them so much space and were so hesitant to challenge. It's a video, it's tough to play something under pressure for sure, just sort of sucks cause I think they could have easily won if they just didn't sit back so much. Then again we don't really get to see the whole game so might just be the way the video is cut.
Finally they see that playing with joycons isn't easy. It took me 2 years to get from Platinum to champ with switch. Sometimes you think you will double jump into the ball and end up completely whiffing. Plus there is also occasional joycon drift.

Rather a higher ping if they used it with wifi because I guess they normally use their PCs with Ethernet cable or atleast they'll have a more capable network card. Btw I "switched" from switch to PC too and it was a ping change from 40-70 to 5-20 and it definitely made it a lot better
as a champ switch player, I’m glad you acknowledged how hard it is
ohhh CBell is close to a million subs????
I remember commenting on his videos, saying this man is underrated when he only had 5k.
Congrats bro you deserve it.❤
I recently hit champ 1 in 2v2 with switch and it was very hard, I was hardstuck in diamond for a few months or so. Like every 30 seconds, my game randomly freezes and I lost so many games because of that. Also sometimes my car randomly decides to not flip or to not drive forward
Omg same, my car randomly stops driving, or boosting
Definitely get an ethernet adapter for you switch and plug directly into the router
@@CYDeviant dont think I can do that with our router
Great content! Was the last "revenge match" also on Switch for the SSL, or PC?
my friend is Renbo they were on steam for revenge
you can see that they typed something in chat. since cbell is pc and u can only see messages same platform, they're on PC, plus boltin's name is different
Hey you used my video! 0:07
Wow he really did
the way you said how hard it is on switch makes me feel special :)
This vid is amazing keep the good work up
Hey CBell I have a video idea so here it is you should make 1-2 SSL to practice on switch for a month and play ranked to see how much they have improved
I dont think anyone would agree to play on the switch for a month...
Maybe a week
Don’t insult the switch, it’s my main device for RL so don’t talk, it’s a great console
Fax bro
Pc is better it’s just facts tho
It is!!! i play mainly on switch too
There’s something wrong with you for posting this comment lol. Switch is actually ass when it comes to this game.

CBell - Alright let's get on to the video
RUclips - Alright let's get on to the ads.
FINALLY PEOPLE UNDERSTAND HOW HARD SWITCH IS
what if you found an actual ssl that actually plays on the nintendo switch?
That's what I thought the vid will be like switch ssls vs real ssls on pc
@@adixxx3056 same
They don’t exist
@@pwnagepplful they do but only like 2-3 people in rumble
Surely it must be possible to exist if like you're the best, unless you don't get mmr when you get paired with lower ranks? Or people are just so inconsistent on switch you lose against lower ranks?
Playing on switch isn't the worst it's just the difference from 240 fps to 30 makes mechanics so much different on switch but people still reach champ or gc on switch and when they switch to like pc their mechanics become smoother and will most likely let them rank up a little easier
switch has 60fps btw
@@niclas3406 uhm no
@@niclas3406 no it has 30 fps lol, I play on switch
You also have to think the people on switch might have the greatest internet
No it actually is worse, the joycons are absolutely terrible, and the switch is 30 fps
I think it’d be a good video idea to have a 2v2 against the ranks but they can only shoot from there half of the field! Love the videos!!
I'm a gold freestyler that can flip reset musty. On switch. Watching this vid makes me feel like I'm not giving myself enough credit.
They finally understand the pain, also switch actually has a performance mode to get 60 fps
Bruh I just realized that I’m on the worst console in the worst rank 😐
I reached to play 3 with switch and joycon drift
ngl it's so hard on switch, I play on it, but I'm still diamond somehow
If u play on a monitor with the controller its not bad
@@che7655 its mainly the being locked to 30fps is the massive issue
I’m trying so hard to get diamond on switch but I keep flickering between plat 2 and plat 3
@@mr.electro4674 same im on switch but im flickering between gold 3 and plat 1
i peaked c3 on switch but recently moved to pc
The toxicity from Jay at the end is hilarious
THANK YOU SOMEONE MADE THIS! - im GC on Nintendo Switch with 2k hours on it....i dont own a good pc...its nice to see everyone seeing switch differently.
I play with an Ethernet connected to my switch and I play on NAE...With Ethernet I get average ping of 60-80 with a capped at 30fps. Whithout ethernet i get average 120+ sometimes going into 200+ and all the bad horsemen of lag and also capped at 30 fps.
Great vid I will say that although playing on switch isn't preferable to pc it is not as hard as they are portraying it. I am a champ 1 who has played solely on switch with cross platform on.
Do you use joy cons or pro cintroller
@@davidmatthews778 for a while I used pro controller but have recently switched to ps4 controller through a USB stick I can use it on my switch
they're presumably using joycons in handheld so it is actually pretty hard.
What if he never told the plats that the SSLs were on switch and they thought they were actually cracked…
Ngl playing on switch is no harder than console, it’s just the shape of the controller things that makes it worse but you just have to adjust your hands a little. But idk about compared to pc
You could buy a pro controller but the real problem is the fps wich should be 30 but never are usually its between 25 and 15.
Cbell:
“Im getting dizzy Im getting dizzy this is crazy!”
2 seconds later:
thud on desk
thank you so much for showing the world how hard playing on switch can be. as a switch player stuck in plat, it’s really hard to improve when things like lag, controllers, and the system is dragging me down
Yeah i get controller latency, i did make it to diamond one tho in season 6
Give switch gcs PCs and see how they improve
theres like 5 switch gcs in the whole world lol
@@aksellmaoo i mean theres like 50-80 in normal modes and only like 2-3 ssls on rumble
@@aksellmaoo exactly
I'm a D2/3 and NGL those diamonds were better than me
This is the video I’ll send to my console friends when I say complain about their delay whenever I miss a shot.
4:00,that was surprisingly good
that sergeant guy was so cool lol
I will take that instead of the flip reset 😂
@@sergeantcranky7471 where you once in the army?
@@carmansunnyboi7972 I was in a program link to the army for 7 years, had the same drills class, intense PT certain weapon maintenance and procedures. But never enrolled.
This video is really cool but have you mastered the 10 defends yet
As a switch player using the joycons are actually impossible to play with you need to use the pro controller
As a Switch Player almost Diamond, it is really hard when your playing. But it feels about the same as console
8:16
its like reading in ur head then reading out loud 😂
“Your bad”
“Lol”
Idk why that was so funny
You can always connect the switch to a moniter or a TV
Boltin was legit too good for switch NGL
I knew eventually a video like this would get made. I quit rocket league a couple months back, I peaked at champ 3, and while I was away from home, or was on the "go" so to speak, I thought "hey, why not get some practice in on my Switch."
Oh boy was I wrong.
I'm Diamond 3 on switch. I always thought that I looked like the pro players at RLCS. Know I know why
i think we all love seargent cranky
Haha! "Spiderman 3 scene" :
They love me...
no way what's up seargent cranky
i love you
you are awesome
I LOVE UR VIODOS KEEP THEM UP!
i play on switch and got to d3 with joycons, the joycons work really well for my tiny little hands but there are two things that are no bueno, lag, and joycon drift
The immediate "how's this look?" Was fucking awesome. 😂
Thanks for all your hard work. Loved the vid
I use a switch, and when hooked up to my monitor and using a pro controller, I can get 60 fps and play just fine
Those Switch super sonic legends actually did a really good job.
the 8:04 "AHHHH" got me ngl
Diamonds know how to play. They understand possession, they understand like how to flick it...
Oh Cbell, you've been away from diamond much too long...
0:20 Screen size? I play on an xbox connected to a tv mate
Im actually playing much better on my steam deck, but the back buttons are really giving me an edge.
Sergeant Cranky is the man! Bruh had me dying
I love low rank comms man xD if you need boost just fall back, ahh go ahead xD
Why is the plats voice so deep 😂😂😂
Ask puberty. 😂🤣
@@sergeantcranky7471 My man hit puberty twice 😂
@@hershy1594 I wished it was only that much
Yeah the switch has input lag badd, with a pro controller it's a little better. Change key bindings and input deadzone. Really helps
Finally they see that playing with joycons isn't easy.
It took me 2 years to get from Platinum to champ with switch.
Sometimes you think you will double jump into the ball and end up completely whiffing.
Plus there is also occasional joycon drift.
What's ur settings btw
