Thanks man... I've got some new camera gear and also some new upgrades I need to make a video about. Going to be doing some test filming today. Also have a new laptop coming to edit video :)
I have a T20 as well. How are powering and switching the light? Isn't the stock light 48v? Also are you running a separate light switch or using the stock control?
I have wired it so it is connected to the standard controller. When I start the bike, the round DRL LEDs are turned on. When I press to activate the light function, the main light on low beams + round DRL light. I have high beams set up to go on when I press the horn. It also means I can flash the lights but pressing the horn which Ive found very handy for pedestrians or traffic when the sun goes down. I'm not sure what the stock light is actually but the front light I have is a 40w. I left a link in the comments to the light I have if your interested in checking it out.
the link for the light is the headlamp only. no housing or clamps.. can you check and see if you can find the lamp you bought with the housing etc? thanks for the help
sorry, another question, is the wiring guide you made with or without the highbeams? i think i want to keep my horn as is. no high beams. thanks for akll your help!
Wiring is with high beams but you do lose the horn. I can’t remember which wire was the horn unfortunately but my best guess is it either the blue or yellow wire from the bike side
hey! the headlight you are using, are the clamps sold separate? what about the power it draws from the battery? is it 40w? isnt that a lot of power? also the wiring... any info appreciated!
Thanks for the comment. The link to the light I bought is in the description but the light came with the housing and the clamps. The wiring I had to play with to see what was what but I used the following after some testing. B = Bike L = Light BYellow to LWhite BRed to LYellow BBlack to BBlack BBlue to LRed The light I have is 40w yes. It does affect the battery drain but not by a lot. I still travel about 18km to work using throttle only and have 3 bars remaining, same as before and that is with low beam lights. I never use high beam and during the day I only run DRL. Hope this helps 🤞 I also just added a rear light and the carbon storage parts, I’ll have a new video up of that soon @p1ll
I hope this link works, it is the last item on the list - www.aliexpress.com/item/32977591005.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.33.3ce11802FFHZkm

Is it possible to quickly switch between it having a max speed of 25/45?
I would t say super quick you would have to go in the settings, but to limit the speed between (low, medium, fast) then yeah, just a button

The last item on the list of items in the link should be the housing with clamps included 👍

@@swolecyclist do you know which wire is the highbeam on the light? Maybe that's the same question..

Just double checked the link, it’s definitely listed as the last item. Just scroll to the end of all the lights and it’s there for 27 bucks 😊
Where did you get the bracket for the front light? Can you send that info?
