Some NFTs can be minted using hardware wallets, others require a hot Metamask wallet. Does the contract have to be coded to support hardware wallets? Any info will be appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for watching and for your sub! And yes, you are correct, this was just a example of what to do when contract is live. I didn’t actually go through the full confirmation in this video. If contract was live, after selecting “write” , then I would confirm a gas fee and send to complete (but didn’t do that step in video since contract isn’t live).

I have minted two NFTs from Billionaire Baby Club and out of interest I went to mint another one of their NFTs through your process. The only thing is when I tried to do it, when you click on contract and then write contract and connect your meta mask, it doesn't allow you to do this to the address I have minted two NFT's from their website. I went through their official website from Discord. Does this mean that this project could be a pull and run group? or they just don't give the option to mint through ether scan?

Any idea how this could have happened? My yield farmed but both accounts were exposed to the farm. I also have a suspicion using a bridge poly to bsc. There are 2 possible reasons I can think of. 1 - Your seed phrase was stolen through a phishing scam or was exposed online, or 2 - you gave permission to spend coins on a scam protocol/contract. Thank you for the info! Speaking of crappy Ethereum.... Why is it that if I transfer ETH from Coinbase to MM, it's like a $8 fee, but if I want to buy a $10 NFT on Opensea, the fee is $100? Also, I lowered the gas to $20 trying to save money and it got rejected and stole my $20 anyways. So f'd up.
It’s a great question you ask. With Ethereum, each transaction requires a different amount of work to complete. Sending ETH is the most simple transaction so has a low fee. More complex transactions such as minting NFTs, a DeFi token swap, or a complex DeFi transaction requires more work, which leads to a higher fee.

If try to mint but your address is not on pre sale/whitelist, you will lose gas fees and receive nothing in return. The whitelist has addresses pre preprogrammed into the smart contract that are able to mint.

Hello, I tried this method and went to write contract tab for one of the mints. I can only 3 bullet points like, transfer, upgrade and upgradecall. There isnt anything like mint purchase etc. And I am sure its the right contract. I took it from token which is minted yesterday presale mint. Today there is public mint and i wanted to use this method but write contract is super different. They have this website with multiple different artist work/project. Is it because of that, they have weird contract ? Or any advise ?

The method for a general mint would look something like "flip sale state", "flip sale started", "set sale state". If go to the last page of transactions for dotdotdot, you can see the "flip sale state" function executed and then right after, dotdotdot NFTs were being minted. etherscan.io/txs?a=0xce25e60a89f200b1fa40f6c313047ffe386992c3&p=85 Check this other example, with World Of Women, where someone tried to mint a NFT before the sale function was executed, and they had a failed mint transaction etherscan.io/txs?a=0xe785e82358879f061bc3dcac6f0444462d4b5330&p=206

If there is a new mint and you do this smart contract method when the sale goes public what happens if the supply runs out mid transaction? Thanks for the content!
If supply runs out mid transaction, transaction will fail, and will lose gas costs. If the mint is sold out when first interacting with the contract, Metamask will show an extremely high gas price (not a real price) to prevent you from minting.
What if the contract address in details section of opensea takes u too the opensea shared storefront contract and not a contract to the specific NFT? How would u go about find the contract?
So how would people find out about this? By other people posting the contract address on Twitter or something? Someone had to have released the CA from somewhere and that would be connected to who created it.

Nope, if there’s a whitelist, only those addresses can mint until there is a general mint for everyone/any address.

Check this other example, with World Of Women, where someone tried to mint a NFT before the sale function was executed, and they had a failed mint transaction etherscan.io/txs?a=0xe785e82358879f061bc3dcac6f0444462d4b5330&p=206
Hi. When I go to contract I don't see an option to write contract and connect my wallet. What I do see is, "Are you a contract creator? Verify and publish your contract source today" I click that and then there are other things for me to fill out which I have no idea about. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

What value of gas limit, priority fee, and max fee will you enter if you have to do it manually?

If supply runs out mid transaction, transaction will fail, and will lose gas costs. If the mint is sold out when first interacting with the contract, Metamask will show an extremely high gas price (not a real price) to prevent you from minting.

What if the contract address in details section of opensea takes u too the opensea shared storefront contract and not a contract to the specific NFT? How would u go about find the contract?
WHat if there are ridiculous gas fees? Will it just buy it anyway?
So how would people find out about this? By other people posting the contract address on Twitter or something? Someone had to have released the CA from somewhere and that would be connected to who created it.
