This is the one PPO violation hearing from about a month ago. There was another one about 2 weeks ago but the audio from the court was so bad I couldn’t post it.

Victorian Era???? Up to, and likely well past, the very recent 1950's, women were regularly placed in psychiatric institutions,for extended periods of time, to treat what we now define as MENOPAUSE. These medically prescribed institutionalized stays were instigated and verified by the husbands and doctors of these women. If that doesn't scare the living shit out of every single woman alive, there is something dead inside you. The white patriarchy, men just like this guy, are the same types who today, 2024, are voting to take away a woman's right to her own body. It's a slippery slope. in the end it's just a piece of paper. since it's a protective order not a restraining order, it does carry more weight with LEO's. but she'd have to live long enough to call 911. considering he threatened to kill her the minute they walked out of court divorced, she'd qualify for a lifetime order, which is rarely given.

just know. this is one of the top things Project 25 wants to do…eliminate no fault divorce. NFD has saved countless lives. Currently Women in Missouri cannot obtain a divorce if they are pregnant. They cannot get a legal separation from an abusive spouse. There are women being hidden from abusive spouses until they give birth.

The judge seems like a real misogynist. Of course, mom started right in with a ton of attitude, but I was married to a guy just like this, and when I finally got fed up, I was full of attitude, too. But the judge needed to shut this dude up. None of what he says matters in the separation of assets. The fact that dad is in another custody case right now doesn't surprise me in the least.

She had her say almost uninterrupted but she interjected when her soon to be ex was talking. His attempt to enter her supposedly mental state is an old controller, abuser trick. I found the fact that the man kept making statements to be extremely frustrating because the judge let him go on too often. Particularly since the man seemed to be trying to gaslight the woman and the judge.

That’s what I’m saying. I’m not done the video yet but she didn’t get to talk about everything he did to her and every time she tries to say something the judge shuts her up. She needs to be granted this divorce immediately or he’s going to find a way to keep a hold on her. Why can’t this judge see that she needs to be free of him asap.

Why? Because men protect other men. Keep in mind that to other men, this guy’s behavior is well within the male norms. Men consider themselves to be the baseline for judging behavior and emotions. The fact that psycho men are indulged by other men only leads to more psycho men and more beaten, maimed, and dead women. It’s sad. It’s not fair. It’s not justice but being wrapped up in that world is a handicap for male judges, male lawyers, and male bosses. The power dynamic only exacerbates the problem.

We don't know, and we'll never know the complete history of their marriage. She may have needed 24 7 emotional support for a given time. He may have adopted a caretaker position in the relationship. That will drastically change the dynamics of any relationship. It sounds as though she is better and wants to start a new life. She may have a secret relationship with another. WE DONT KNOW. I'm sure you've heard this before, but try to put yourself in the man's shoes. He's desperate to make his marriage work. That will cause any man alive to act desperately..to act irrationally. All I'm saying WHAT would you do for the person that you love? If your wife or husband or girlfriend or boyfriend comes to you tomorrow and want to split. Would you say OK and not fight like hell?

Well, he only interrupted her when the absolute gaslighting turd was being asked a direct question, which it's clear the judge let him ramble to slowly get the details he wanted from him to use against him.
That judge also divided 4 things in halve (basing one of those things on halve its value to start with) which came to $1693 but then only added 3 of them up and said he owes her $1393 so yeah the judge is a clown

I feel so bad for this poor woman. The crap she has to deal with. I cannot believe he’s trying to say she’s not competent and is in a manic state. To know he had her committed bc she left him … I’m a little upset that the judge allowed him all that time to basically badger her. And now he is testifying about property but the wife hasn’t rested her side yet. I fear for her safety. Even if she is granted the divorce, which I know she will be, he’s not going to let her go. He is the one who needs to be help in a 5150.

I once worked with a gal who showed up in the office suddenly, worked with us for about four months then one day she said she was going because her X found her yet again and she had to move, yet again. I watched this yesterday and it was still spinning in my mind when I was trying to get to sleep. Classic DV behavior. He tries to make out like he is the victim, tries to convince the actual victim it is all in her head, then the I'm protecting her as she is out of her mind... etc. etc. etc.. It also really bothered me with his sneaky way of trying to find out where she is working. Assuming her statement was accurate, I am really glad she is living with her dad and brother. I'm surprised that the judge didn't order the ex husband to wait for her to leave first knowing there's a PPO. Even if it wasn't an issue for that trial, surely it'd have been prudent to make sure any existing orders by other courts/judges were kept to for the safety of each parties involved?

the fact that the judge shut the wife up but let the husband say ANYTHING is totally inappropriate. she should file a formal complaint to have him sanctioned. the video speaks for itself.
this judge has no jurisdiction over the PPO or any orders issued in other courts. he only has jurisdiction over the divorce. the wife needs to insist on filing a formal complaint with the police dept [even if they decline to arrest him] which she can then bring to the court that did issue the PPO.
If she can only be with you when she’s heavily medicated, please consider the fact that YOU might be the problem, not her. 🤦

She didn't want to split down the middle. She just asked for a few things. The judge can't award her anything she didn't ask for or want.

Everything she was asking for WAS split down the middle he having to pay her half the value. The one thing I do agree the judge did wrong was not force him to buy her son a new four wheeler which he was given as a birthday present from her and her father.
That judge just ripped her off another $300 for the medical bill. He said $800 for one bike $500 for another bike $93 for one bill and $300 for another bill and then said thats $1393 which its not and she didnt call him out on it. $1693

Also what is going on with this judge? He admonished her a few times when he’s making narrative statements & not asking relevant questions/being argumentative. He also let him continue with his testimony during his cross examination. He also agreed to pay the full $186 but judge awarded half. This judge did a really poor job here in my opinion!
