Improve your barre chords in minutes with this simple & fun exercise!

When it comes to mastering barre chords, repetition is key! But doing boring exercises over and over is kinda... boring. So I want to share an exercise with you, that not only is musical and fun, but also strengthens both ends of your barre finger, which is often overlooked. It's also great for your rhythm, since we're incorporating a bit of syncopation. But don't let the fancy music terms fool you, I have this lesson set up so anyone can follow along.
Basically, we go between a couple spots, barring just 2 strings, and moving our finger around so we strengthen both the tip and the base. We jam along to Moondance by Van Morrison, and get lost in the tune. Do that through the entire recording, and you're well on your way to getting the strength you require to master barre chords. Enjoy!

As a lonoong time musician, but rank beginner on guitar, I like this approach. Is there a way to alter the tempo? It’s a little too fast for me. Joe, 80, but not dead……….YET!
You can slow James RUclips video down to 50 or 75 percent speed . I like that feature when stuffs too fast for us old guys
If one has their quitar setup properly. barr chords become over 50% easier to learn.
