You don’t have to go anywhere to clear your mind but a change in scenery isn’t bad either. Whether it’s far away or just a few hours drive from home, a getaway is a nice break from a normal daily routine. I still appreciate when you share your days with us even if you’re just home, you have the best energy I just play your vlogs while I’m going about my day. Thank you for sharing your day trip with us, Georgina!
I think travel and adventuring would be more enjoyable by going to a nicer place! Morecambe and Lancaster are fine (I used to work in Lancaster) but there are some gorgeous places on Britain's coastline to explore.
Another one of my favorite RUclipsrs always says “no matter if you’re here or there, there you are” and I always understand that to mean that if you’re searching for something internal (like peace or zen), it doesn’t matter where you are.
I’ll admit adventure is fun and sometimes getting away from the hustle and bustle can help with peace and relaxation but in the end, if it’s something internal you’re traveling for, I agree with Simon to a degree.
It’s always good to step away from your home life, to discover what you have ❤ we have so many opportunities on your door steps that we never explore ❤

Honestly it doesn't sound that deep to me. It's just a matter of preference.
I feel a bit strange when a place hasn't got too many shops and things to do too. And I'm starting to feel the same when it comes to staying at home. With me I think it might be just because i'm too comfortable and get entangled with family people's lives.

I went to Morecambe for the first time last weekend and loved it! Great long walk along the beach and watched an amazing sunset.
You missed nothing not seeing the main shops... bit of a sad old precinct really. But yes the beach is lovely.

We stayed in Morecombe a few years ago. We stayed in a hotel on the seafront. The hotel was quite old fashioned but it was the most spacious room I have ever stayed in. Did the Airbnb have any cooking facilities?

Shops in Bare, or Happy Mount Park?
Promenade music is on the front. I use to teach in the academy above the shop.
