@@TuckTheFitans386 the Jags generate a very high threshold dollar amount of money for the Jax area. Duval county would be belly up financially if the Jags left Jax
@@shac9131 well it is an insane amount of money but there are more events at the the stadium than the Jags' home games. We have the Gator Bowl here every and would probably stay in Jax regardless if the deal is done or not, but if the deal does get approved by the other NFL owners, Jax will probably lock down the Florida-Georgia game long term. And the Monster Jam that is here every year is also at the Jags' stadium. I really think Deegan wants to get the deal done because she doesn't want to be the mayor that sees the Jags leave to another city.
I cannot wait to get my popcorn and watch Rory Diamond cry. He's triggered over an extra $150 million that will not only help neighborhoods in other parts of Duval County but also accelerate the construction of new riverfront parks between the stadium and downtown. This deal has us spending hundreds of millions of dollars less than other cities, yet we still have people like Diamond who are a major reason why our downtown is severely lacking.
Rory Diamond is happy to spend taxpayer dollars so long as those public funds do not go to help economic disadvantaged areas of Jacksonville.
Whether, pro or con of the new stadium and the budget, the City of Jacksonville NEED the Jaguars.
The best part is hearing the political KARENS cry about the money.😂😂😂

Y the heck do 75% of other team owners have to agree on this??? They shouldn’t have any say on this

Let’s gooo!!!
Build it!
If this is a great deal.... shouldn't we get to vote on it in Nov!!!
A 1.2 billion dollar renovation you could of built a brand new stadium from the ground up for basically that cost
Definitely not build a 2025 up to date stadium
