Doc Severinsen | Small Scale Etude

This is really cool for musicians, especially trumpet players. This is a recording of Doc Severinsen playing with the 1974 McDonalds All-American HS band. My Dad was in the group then. The picture is of my Dad and Doc Severinsen in 1974. This is a simple warm-up/etude from the Herbert Clarke Technical Studies book. I'm sure many will recognize it, I even do. An arrangement was made for band and it was recorded in studio with the McDonalds Band and Doc. They recorded this for the '75 Rose Parade Preview TV Show. He does a lot of ad-libbing in it. Pretty incredible. My Dad had this on a vinyl and I converted it to mp3. To my knowledge the only people who have this are the members the '74 All-American Band.
