Hi Nick a suggestion try and include a route of your planned trip. Helps to visual your route. I know it's on your website. But nice to include it in the video. Stay Safe...Stay well.
@@NickfrNamibia Hi Nick, I think in the video it might be good to give a Google map route or maybe on a map you can draw the route that you've taken within each video. Helps to communicate what you've done. Just a suggestion.
Torra is only open during Dec and JAn . Dec is very full but you will always get a spot in january. You can book a camping spot. First come first serve.
Hi Nick, great videos! Question on wild camping - everywhere I read that it’s illegal in Namibia. Is it easy to get away with / anything to worry about? Are there rangers in the parks (Dorob or Skeleton) etc? Love wolf camping. Thank you!
Wild camping in national parks are illegal. So definitely dont try it in the Skeleton Coast National Park, or Sossusvlei etc I use this guide. If I passed through a gate and had to pay then wild camping is out of the question, and you will be caught and punished, yes there are rangers. Everywhere else in Namibia is ok for a quick one night camp. Try and be out of sight when you camp. Do you use the iOverlander app, it is extremely useful to find site in Namibia,
Fantastic informative video.. i would like to visit this place.. can you just camp anywhere along the coast line as i see is thos video? Is cape cross seal colony outside the reserve?
What a place!!! I'm plannig a self drive holiday in namibia and I have to go from Palmwag to swakopmund. Do you think two days are enough for this route with some stops at cape cross, dead sea and zeila shipwreck? I want to sleep in my jeep along the road near mile 108!
Hola Nick!!! Wonderful job, thank you so much for sharing with us! Do you think we can plan a 3 week tour in November Namibia with an Iveco RV not 4x4 or do we have to give up some visits? Thank you y aludos desde Canarias!
You can see a lot of Namibia without a 4x4, including driving all the way up to Terrace Bay/Skeleton Coast. Some gravel roads are long and a bit tough on a car, but no 4x4 needed. Extra spare tyre and a pump and you are good to go
@@reniervanheerden8210 in some places along the coast and inside the park yes. Just make sure before you do. In the park the areas are clearly marked for fishing.
hello hello))) if I drive all the way straight from the swakopmund to this cape cross, how much time do you think i will spend? and if I drive afterwardsm from Cape Cross all the way to Etosha park? (im watching all your videos to get prepared well) :) thank you very much
@@iradyachenko1469 no avoid driving at night, especially on the gravel roads. From Swakopmund to Cape Cross to Etosha will be a very long drive. if I was you Id rather sleep over somewhere.

It's a little bit greener here on the Texas coast. lol

its the only place on earth where lions will hunt and eat marine life like birds and seals they even have adapted to time the tides
So u can visit the skeleton coats with a good 4x2 Bakkie with a good ground clearance? 🧐🤔 I thought u only require a 4x4 Bakkie to do the trip
Yes you can drive all the way from Swakopmund to Terrace Bay with a normal bakkie
