I love when garden seamlessly mix ornamental plants with food producing without separating these two functions, like for Mediterranean style citruses and figs with lavender, rosemary etc..and it's also important to have something for the birds.

Plus think about how nice of property they could afford if they put their money together and split the cost of the shared areas. It makes perfect sense assuming they get along with each other, and Rickard prioritizes family over everything so obviously he wants to be close to his daughter, son in law and grandkids. It's a no brainer for him. And Jon, understandably, really likes Rickard because he's one of the coolest people on the planet. Who wouldn't want Rickard living in their house lol.

Considering the impact of covid on the restaurant which didn't open and his other businesses , he must be taking a big hit. He'll be selling the yacht soon if this keeps going.

top notch crib- stellar basement/garage/spa area- Rickard always renovating it to top notch standards-you as well- excited to see what you guys find-end up doing to the new place/ possibly a vineyard if the weather out there is good for it-300 days of sun a year sounds like a dream- dig the fruit trees and outdoor areas-I could only imagine the air quality out there is something special..take care- keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@@posch21 Where I live the housing market is going crazy with rich people wanting to invest in real estate rather than the stock market etc. Not a bad time to be a real estate agent/real estate company owner. So I guess this side of Rikard's businesses is not doing bad.

Nice house with a good structure but the interior design can definitely use an upgrade except for the sauna and cinema, those look finished to me!
Bedrooms are average nothing special, but those views outside and the basement are amazing 🤩

it's actually interesting how little bedrooms it has. it really feels like a bachelors home with all the amenities but not enough bedrooms for a large family. but those bedrooms all feel like master bedrooms.

Would be interesting to hear Jon's / Rickard's opinion on the super arid nature of Spain, e.g the lack of water. Precipitation is so infrequent in Marbella do they ever feel bad with all the water use for pools/gardens etc. Would love to see a tour of Rickard's mini orchard haha, looks incredible !

Definitely planning to move to Spain now, instead of living forever in LA. You get a regular suburban home for 1M in California or move to paradise in Spain, where I already know the language!

There can be only one good reason to move from the Costa Del Sol and move to Cyprus.
... TAXES.
Living in Cyprus, no matter how much anybody wants to sugar coat it, is akin to living on the moon except that it has air and water.
The houses there come in assorted square or rectangular box shapes. They’re more like communal habitats. Completely lacking in character or architectural / artistic flair. Which is more readily available in Spain. With that said, Richards home in Marbella is very nice, nothing over the top and has some character. Inventory in Costa Blanca all the way to Costa del Sol , all the cool beach towns all the way down the Med coastline have tons of things to offer. From Jávea to Marbella. And the Balearic Islands. Plus, if you ski, Andorra and the Pyrenees are a quick hop. Which leaves me scratching my head as to why you guys chose to move to Cyprus , other than for tax reasons. I pay the taxes knowing that even though it can get pricey, I at least am surrounded by a lot of character - and services. But hey.. each to their own, right?
