The running you refer to as boring is part of DayZ since it started of as a mod years ago. The running leads to action and gives breaks inbetween it. That is the main reason why DayZ is a game that will give you adrenaline rushes even after thousends of ours. Not boring to me, that's why I also watch Tope streaming ;)

@@VexxedSR its going to be a sad day when they nerf the 40mm like they did with the landmine. 40mm HE in real life is actually underwhelming with a kill radius of only 5 meters.

if he died then everyone else died too because he was the farthest away from the blast. the 40mm blast radius is a little OP at the moment and behaves exactly like The landmine when it was first added back into the game.
I died in a similar grenade launcher debacle. I was just shooting it just to shoot it, not at anyone.. 🤣😂 I aimed a little short shall we say, and imploded myself. Have had several grenade mishaps along those lines as well. Explosives in dayZ are DeAdLy..

2 out of 4 inside died as far as I remember and both of my teammates survived. I was in the doorway where the blast come from.
