game developers probably do this during the production of a game just walking through the map like an npc to make sure that atmosphere is still there, without the main gameplay..
This is actually the best part about cyperpunk. If they built it from a functional immersive city upwards, and then emphasised its immersiveness through mundane and common occurances and activities. Then built the action and engaging content on top of that like a scaffold, it would have been great.
fantastic video. I have been watching little segments every night for the past few days and I always look forward to it, thank you! Would love to see this be a series.
That's a good way to finish a Cyberpunk ASMR, especially when you are just listening and you are not expecting something like that. Good work btw, nice video.
And then cry some more from being shot in the leg while getting a dumpling from a street food vendor. Night City is stunning to look at but it's hell to exist in unless you somehow manage the defy the powers that be and have a comfy corpo job... Or you could be a hardcore merc/monster like Adam Smasher lol
Night City makes think what it would be like if all of Denver was just like Downtown Denver. Never ending skyscrapers apartment buildings and filth. Night clubs, bars, shops, and stores for miles. But, honestly I would almost love to live in a place like Night City. Downtown feels so far away now.
For Night City there should some gunshots going off in the distance every once in awhile. I mean we already get that now in real life. In a city like this, I'd imagine someone shooting nearby by would be just be the soundtrack of the city.
I play fnaf security breach for the environment and ambience too. Tried to play cyberpunk before but my laptop runs it at 1 FPS so I had it refunded. Thanks for the video!
I'm 30, and this game makes me feel way out of my element somehow. Like the feeling of if I woke up in a place/time like this... I wouldn't know what the F to do with myself.
I've gotten about 120 hours into the game so far, and f*ck what everyone else says about this game being bad, it's absolutely breathtaking. The attention to detail and the voice acting just blows me away. There isn't an inch of night city that is untextured or unfilled with some kind of character. I've even gone to some of the most remote buildings where nobody should be, into a trippy old motel, broke into a room and a corpo big wig had his headset on watching porn. And the room had pizza, drinks, and even his wallet and keys on the table and stuff. This game is absolutely fantastic. With all the recent updates the driving isn't so bad, it hasn't bugged out on me once, and the gunplay is really satisfying. Should try it.
it can be overwhelming fr. think I'd give myself a few days off just to learn how to get around the place. rent a room in a cheap ass motel for like 5 days, go out every day, write things down if I need to. then id find myself some contracts. there's always something to do in NC lmao
The vibe this game gives is cool and dangerous. Still, the future like this would be amazing, I guess. The neon lights, modern architecture is absolutely stunning. Japanese and is korean almost everywhere to be heard, CP77 should be definitely a free game and playable on any device.

Why is there no places for cars to parkin this city? Its like the design team just completely forgot to put that in the game, for me it takes away from the immersion by a hell of alot
I've noticed this too. While the city looks pretty it doesn't look as natural or exactly functional. Also the low number of NPC and them all just having the same walking cycles and not having diverse crowds really take me out.
