For me thats the new standard for Melee combat games. Im really sorry but ever since Ghost of Tsushima kind of For Honor did im unable to enjoy anything else
The last time I saw sword fighting mechanics this smooth in a game was Bujingai: The Forsaken City. Sekiro got close, but I think this might be the game that brings me the high octane sword fighting action that I've been craving since 2003!
This was extremely hard to read considering you just watched them backpedal and make it cinematic-qte movie rather than cool hack n slash game, mr. FernandoGarcia-Notabotname
a group of game streamers in china was invited to the studio for playing the demo, according to them, all the moves are REAL in game, not scripted, some of them are executions, the coolest ones can be triggered under some specific conditions, and you can parry/block attacks as well as holding block for automatic blocking which consumes your stamina, you can equip 2 main weapons and 2 offhand weapons which usually got from defeating bosses. Overall, the game feels like ninja gaiden or devil may cry in a sense, but incorporates some very unique mechanics created by the studio

As for the gameplay which else soul-like combat could be so smooth. Please respect the cultural difference and context among asain countries. If you google 'Wuxia' you can find out more information about the cultural background of this game.
Combat looks soooo fluide,smooth and fun and iam really digging the protagonist's design and the game's overall aesthetics. Defintely one of my most anticipated games now that we have a proper look at it

Like Tsushima proved to be a blockbuster game in Japanese genre This game could replicate it in the wuxia genre although it is less cinematic and more focused on gameplay. Tsushima was one of the most artistic and cinematic focused game.
