- Paddy Barnes accepts he lost but thinks the judging in China is suspect. Anyone who disagrees should watch Kenny Egan's final fight.
Paddy calmed down afterwards and did collect his medal but says he'll be boycotting his local chinese for a while. Which is a shame for him because the Emerald city is great!!

he's not a sore loser. If you listen to the interview he says there's no question the other guy should of won, he was upset that the scoreline was a disgrace and that the judges didnt score him for what were clearly scoring punches while the chinese guy was getting scores for taps to the headgear. Had the judges scored correctly the fight could of been 5-3 at halftime rather than 8-0, so i'd be upset as well.
Your country also has about 300 times as many people so I wouldn't exactly be bragging about having more medals.
i did feel he lost the fight..paddy himself admits it...he's a huge prospect and a cert for a gold in london 2012 if he stays around....as for his attitude i love it...do you think the yanks or cubans or russians would celebrate a bronze ?? u'd be lucky to be let back into the country....he's right not to be happy with a bronze like that bum sutherland was
