Mahishasura(Demon) performed a tapas to Brahma and requested that he be granted immortality. Brahma gave him a boon such that his death will happen only at the hands of a woman. Slaying and killing mercilessly, Mahishasura and his army of demons soon conquered earth, and set their eyes upon Devaloka, the abode of
Devas. Upon Devas request, the trinity, Lord Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva appeared in the battlefield, arrayed for war. During the war, realizing that his efforts against Mahishasura were futile, Lord Vishnu vanished from the battlefield and took refuge in Vaikunta, his abode. Soon Lord Shiva and Lord Brahma also left the battlefield, abandoning the Devas to their fate. Now its up to Devi’s- Saraswati, Lakshmi & Parvati to save Devas from the demon king Mahishasura
