I had the same issues with the 2X4 dimensions, I thought I was doing something wrong. I measured the plywood top several times thinking it was cut wrong so I returned it, waiting for the next model. Great review guys!
I find it an interesting concept but the problem is that most places I would put it are on uneven surfaces ie. driveway. The legs need to be adjustable in some way to account for that so you create a level surface with the worksite table.
I know it's old, but thanks for the review! The uneven surface issue killed it for me. My driveway is made of grass with a little gravel showing through and that's where I'd use it.
Hey guys - I know this is old now but I just got one of these - now under the Bora brand name but it looks like the same one with same specs. Agree on the bag - it won't last 5 minutes of hard use. Make a box for it from plywood. As far as weight capacity goes - you being "scared " is not very objective - if you want to test its weight capacity - test it and report your findings not your fears ;-). On the pads under the 8x4 sheet why don't you slightly collapse it instead of having it fully expanded? This table can be used in a collapsed mode and provides greater underneath support that way - that makes it way more versatile. Agree on the uneven ground issue - it needs adjustable pads - I might try making some from scrap ply. I am still coming to grips with the piston like action on each leg. Each leg seems to have a hydraulic piston inside it that lets it absorb a few inches if you press down on it - which is a little off-putting for me - I suppose I will get used to it - surprised you didn't mention that part as I have not seen that piston absorber actionon any other bench system. Thanks for doing the review guys !
I agree with the support issue, should have more of the pad under the plywood. Also would b great with a hard case. Like the raised lip on the corner idea for safety. I don't think I would buy one untill they addressed some of these issues. I do like the idea of this, a quick setup work table. Do put the bucket on it. I think it woud handle the weight pushing straight down. What is the warranty?
I would not mind having one for the times I need an extra work surface. I normally do not put heavy stuff on my makeshift tables. John can you set 2 pieces of 4 X 4 plywood on it to make a 4 X 8 table? I would not be hauling this around just stuck in the corner or the garage until I needed again.
Nice review. I can see uses for this but with limitations that you described, one being you need to have a 4x8 sheet around to use the large version. You could use tow of the smaller versions and two 2x8 sheets, which are easier to handel and to store. Two of the 2x8 cost a few dollars LESS than the one 4x8 version on Amazon. Had I seen this a few years ago, I sould have bought at least one, if not two of the 2x8 versions. I may still buy one of them for a quick set upScott
+The 2 Car Garage Shop The smaller version is 2X4 and not 2X8. The larger 4X8 can also be set up to take 2X4 or 4X4, or even 2X2 sheets to make a table. Just as long as the edges of the plywood is over top one of the supports. So you wouldn't need to have a 4X8 sheet laying around.
PUBLIC VOTE: Do you want to see us try to lift the front of our Deere 5085M by placing the bucket on this system and lifting? Second, Do you think this system will survive?
I bought one when they were on Kickstarter. Love it, but agree with your assessment on plywood size. Keep up the good work, gentlemen!!
Finally it’s available in Germany, i bought one and love it 🫶

I have the 4 X 8 model and really like it. Very strong and well made.

C'mon, tell the truth. That guy in the back is holding up that 4 wheeler :-)

+Russ Webster (rfwjr88) Russ, On the large table, I would think it would be best to a full sheet as you will miss some of the supports. Brian
Thanks Brian

Thanks - not sure how I mixed that up.....

Yes, do it! And I think that it will hold up, but what do I know?
let's see it!
Do it! It won't survive.
@@icecoldusa it did
Thanks for this review. Very helpful
I do a lot of sewing, I am thinking this would be perfect for me.
You can't sit at it with your knees underneath.
I LOVED IT
A big load of 2x6s weighs more than the 4 wheeler
I wish they made them taller. Like 40+ inches tall
They make them now. I think they're 36"
Thanks for the review guys! I'm just not digging this thing! Looks like a cheap gadget to me!
The vid would have had much greater impact if they had used an elephant instead of a 4x4.....just saying...
