Komatsu UK Ltd. is a major production facility for construction and mining equipment in the Komatsu group. Located in Birtley (UK), near Newcastle in North East England, Komatsu UK proudly provides high quality and reliable products. In 2014 it produced its 60.000th unit and has since then produced the HB215LC-2 hybrid hydraulic excavator and the PC210LCi-10, the world's first intelligent Machine Control hydraulic excavator. In 2016, Komatsu UK started the production of the HB3655LC-3 hybrid hydraulic excavator.

Komatsu are a great machine, I operate a pc220 LC. Put 7000 hours in 3 years and the only thing was a water pump. All the while we got a Hyundai after the komatsu and it just fell apart. Sandstone quarry.
