- been a while since my last Definitive track, but we’re back at it again!
Magical Nexus is near perfect imo, so this is a very tame Definitive track. still, i recreated the song from scratch, volume adjusted ALL 32 monsters, added some reverb where needed, and gave the song a proper ending. this may be the closest Definitive track to the original, but i gave each section the attention necessary to bring the best out of Magical Nexus!
i hope you enjoy this Definitive track, and i hope you stay on the lookout for my next video! hmm, i wonder what it could be…

ADDITIONS/CHANGES:
• Volume adjustments for every monster. Quieter monsters such as Bulbo and Hawlo were made more audible. Alternatively, monsters such as Poppette and Spytrap were made louder to give their verses some more OOMPH!
• Extra reverb added to the percussionists on verses 6-7.
• Added an ending verse.
Additional notes:
As Magical Nexus is near perfect, this Definitive track is much tamer than my other ones. However, my goal was to amplify this amazing song further by making EVERY monster audible and giving certain monsters more of an impact to the song!

I would commit several crimes to see your takes on all the natural islands as well as something like magical sanctum or bone island because all the definitive islands you’ve done are genuine master pieces and never cease to blow my tiny little mind
Thank you for making Clackula and Hawlo audible, I see all this talk about how Bulbo is basically mute or something but I could always hear him far easier than those two
no problem! my goal was to make every monster as audible without them having to fight over the spotlight, hence why Bulbo for example, is quieter, but still able to be heard

This barely is any different from The original song, that goes to show how phenomenal the song is, and is in my opinion the BEST song in the series, but I'm curious what do you lot think of magical nexus?
i love Magical Nexus, it’s a great song! i wish i could’ve delivered more on it for this track, but it’s genuinely near flawless so i focused on the minor flaws 😅

What did you change besides plinkajou and the outro verse?
outside of the outro verse, i balanced every monster to be as audible together as possible, while giving certain monsters like Poppette and Spytrap more volume to amplify their verses, and gave the percussionists more reverb in the bridge.
Magical Nexus is already really, really good, so a lot of this track came down to amplifying the power of certain verses and volume adjusting everyone!

Tbh, i like it, but they always keep cantorell and pladdie the same. Why not add them in another verse
unfortunately, i couldn’t find another natural place to add them to. at the very least, they compliment the monsters they play with very well (Theremind and Clavi Gnat)

they’re unfortunately doomed to a single performance (i couldn’t find a good place for them to play again)

i recreated the entire song from scratch to better balance all the monsters’ volumes, greatly increased the volume of certain monsters to amplify their verses, and added more reverb in the percussion section. a lot of what i did were quality of life adjustments, since Magical Nexus is already near perfect imo :)
