    Nice sounds... great job.. the only thing I must notice is that one note is different from the original... you can hear it for the first time at 1:28 .. part from that ... awesome...

    Love the way this kind of music was created: minimal yet so powerful. You'd never get away with writing music like this now. It'd be regarded as 'lazy' I suspect.
    I've made some notes, might have a go at it myself in my DAW.
    Thanks David!

    Hi David
    Many thanks for the videos.
    Could you possibly have a go at recreating Depeche Mode’s Enjoy the Silence?
    It’s a great track and although several people have their own versions on here, nobody has a breakdown of a jdxi version.
    Could you also do a video on saving to banks/favourites in more detail too?
    Keep up the good work!

    • @DavidGordonJDXi
      @DavidGordonJDXi  2 года назад

      Hi Tony, I have made a cover version of Enjoy the Silence where I used my JD-Xi to create a backing track for my guitar and vocals. I'll have a look to see if it's adaptable to play in a guitar sound as it is quite a dominant part.
      Also, I'll have a go at a basic tutorial too once I finish the tracks I'm currently working on.
      All the best, David 🎶🎹👍

    • @DavidGordonJDXi
      @DavidGordonJDXi  2 года назад

      The JD-Xi is an amazing production tool, especially the sequencer as I've never had one before. I don't find the keyboard very playable and the small keys feel flimsy. But as long as you realise this, you can have a tremendous amount of fun with the complete package. It's taught me a lot about drum programming and I am now able to tackle some complex patterns to good effect. I don't think that you'll be disappointed if you get one. Thanks for commenting, all the best, David 🎶👍

      I find it very intuitive as there are a few ways to use the sequencer. Have a look at some of my more recent tutorials as I do a few from scratch and they'll probably give you a better idea. This is a good example....
